I have loved and cared for dogs, cats, birds, and fish since I was a kid, but currently only have 1 cat. I love the opportunity for our family to have more contact with various animals. providing worry-free care that allows people to travel even last minute when they need to. We are a family of animal and travel lovers who know from experience how difficult it can be to find someone responsible and reliable to care for your pet lovingly when you need to be away.

I work part time from home so your pet will get plenty of human attention and choices of areas in the house to relax or play. I walk my daughter to school (2.2 miles roundtrip) in the mornings, perfect opportunity for an extended dog walk. If your pet prefers to be carried or stay at home or take shorter walks, that works too!

Please let me know if your dog gets car sick or nervous when outside the home, or around crowds, or if you would prefer your dog to not go on outings. Share what quirks your dog has and anything you have found makes your dog happy or more comfortable. Let me know if your dog must not have any treats not provided by you or bites of other dogs’ food left over in bowls so I can pay special attention to that. I will do my best to accomodate any special needs but note that certain requests or circumstances do incur additional fees that depend on the complexity and time involved. Prices quoted for drop off/pickup and other services outside the home are based on a 2 mile radius from my residence.
A typical day
Besides the long daily walk to school and back M-F, and playing catch in the backyard and nearby park, on weekends we also like to take dogs out to community events, hikes, the beach and anything else we would do with a dog if it were our own. I will send you pics of your doggo so you can see what they’re up to.

Vera has a really nice grassy yard and allowed my pup to go between the house and yard at all times which is perfect for my pup. She sent videos / pics in the middle of the day, and my pup was happy when I came to pick her up.
Vera was communicative and kind and my pup seemed happy when I picked him up!
