I am a teacher, which means I am fully available to care for your dog during weekends and Holidays. My schedule is a bit busier during the week, but morning and evening walks are still a must!

I have a partially fenced yard and plenty of one levelled space for dogs with mobility issues. I can adapt my care to the needs of your dog ( health conditions, crating, etc). I have a husband who is also a dog lover and two daughters who are used to being around dogs of all sizes and love to participate in pet care! Your pup will definitely have playmates!

Ein typischer Tag
A typical day includes a potty break first thing in the morning, followed by a meal and some quiet time with the family. We usually go for an outdoor activity mid morning and/or in the afternoon, depending on the dogs needs. We then offer supper and some more quiet time with the family before bed. Training and mental stimulation will be provided throughout the day to keep your pet busy and entertained!

I have cared for animals all my life and have finally been able to own my own dog once I reached adulthood. I take great pride and joy in caring for and training dogs. I have trained my own dog (Bernese Mountain dog) to be a therapy dog and have worked with him to visit seniors and children. I have cared for him until the end, which included palliative care. I am more than able to help care for senior dogs and train puppies, no matter the size. My friends come to me with many dog and training related questions and have also requested my help in training their pets on multiple occasions. Your furry child will be in good hands with me!

Vanessa was very communicative while Snowday stayed with her and her family this past weekend. She sent me plenty of pictures and updates! I 100% feel comfortable using her again for future stays/walks.

Vanessa and her family were amazing with Winter! My pup can be a but anxious but she was totally at ease with them. We are on a road trip and wanted to give her a break while we explored Halifax. The updates were regular which also put me at ease
