Tyler & Felipe can care for
Availability
Pet care fits easily into our daily routine because we both work and study remotely. I work 8am–4pm PST with a lunch break and flexible breaks throughout the day, while Felipe has a fully flexible self-study schedule. This means one (or both) of us is almost always available for walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. We’re currently travelling while pet sitting and are looking for opportunities in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.

We really value open and honest communication. Please let us know anything important about your pet ahead of time - routines, behaviours, triggers, medical needs, or preferences. If you have any questions or concerns at all, we’re always available and happy to chat. Our goal is to make sure you feel completely confident and your pet feels safe, understood, and cared for.
A typical day
We love keeping pets active, happy, and engaged throughout the day. Daily walks are a must, and when possible, we enjoy adding in longer walks or even hikes depending on the weather, season, and your pet’s age and energy level. We also make plenty of time for play - whether that’s fetch, tug-of-war, running around the backyard, or just some fun roughhousing if your dog enjoys it. If approved, we’re happy to include trips to the dog park or even car rides for a little adventure. Of course, we balance activity with rest, cuddles, and sticking to your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and at ease.

We’re experienced, reliable pet sitters with a genuine love for animals of all kinds. Through TrustedHousesitters, we’ve completed around 20 sits caring for a wide range of pets - everything from tiny Chihuahuas to large Akitas, energetic puppies to senior animals needing extra patience and care. We’re comfortable with different temperaments, routines, and special needs, including administering medication and supporting older pets. Animals have always been a big part of our lives. I grew up on a farm surrounded by chickens, ducks, horses, pigs, cats, dogs, hamsters, and gerbils, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. Felipe grew up with dogs and even helped start a community initiative in Colombia to find homes for street dogs - something he’s really passionate about. What sets us apart is the level of care and attention we give. Your pet won’t just be “looked after,” they’ll be genuinely cared for, engaged with, and loved.

Tyler did an absolutely amazing job taking care of our dog, Oscar. From the moment we met him, we felt completely at ease knowing Oscar would be in such capable and caring hands. Tyler went above and beyond to make sure Oscar was happy, comfortable, and well cared for—keeping us updated and clearly giving him plenty of attention and love. When we returned home, everything was spotless. Tyler took great care of our house, leaving it just as clean (if not cleaner!) than when we left, which we truly appreciated. It’s not easy to trust someone with both your pet and your home, but Tyler exceeded all expectations. We would happily recommend him to anyone and will absolutely be booking him again in the future.
