Get to know me: Hey! I’m Trish, I’m 22 years old and I’ve recently just qualified as a Nurse. Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am, and completing my degree in Nursing has taught me responsibility, attention to detail and how to stay calm and dependable in situations that may be stressful – all qualities that naturally roll over into how I care for pets. I’m compassionate, reliable, and organised – someone you can trust to show up consistently for you and your fur baby. I offer a calm, safe and structured environment, and I treat your pets like their part of my own family. I enjoy staying active, being outdoors and making sure that every dog in my care is happy, safe and loved. Pet care experience: As a lifelong animal lover, caring for pets isn’t just something I do – it’s something I truly enjoy. I appreciate that our pets are family, and I treat every dog in my care with the same patience, attentiveness and affection that I would want for my own. Although I’m a new member of the Rover community, I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life, so providing loving and reliable care has always come naturally to me. I’m highly attentive to behavior, energy levels, and comfort, and I adapt care to each dog’s needs while following owner instructions closely. I have a dog of my own and have also regularly cared for dogs of friends and family while they have been away on holiday, giving me experience with in-home boarding, longer stays and maintaining consistency through familiar routines. In 2019, as part of my year 10 studies, I completed work experience at a local veterinary practice, which gave me invaluable insight into animal wellbeing, handling and the importance of staying calm and gentle in various situations. This experience strengthened my confidence around dogs of all temperaments and ages, and reinforced how much I enjoy caring for animals. From energetic puppies to senior dogs, I am confident adapting to each dog’s unique personality and routine.
