Pet care experience
I am a certified veterinary assistant that loves animals and has worked with them for years. I plan on becoming an animal biologist and have interned at a vet clinic in highschool and to get my certification and have also volunteered SPCA Tulsa. You're dog will always be in a loving and caring environment and will also enjoy the pleasure of the park down the street. With me you're dogs will be in excellent care. Thanks to the knowledge I have gained at the vet clinic and through school I know how to handle a number of situations in dog care. I am very passionate about taking care of animals and believe they feel emotion just as we do. I believe they should be cared for as such. Any questions or concerns feel free to contact me. I am currently working part time and my schedule is often very flexible which allows to be with the fur babies very often. My shifts are typically 4-5 hour shifts accept on Saturdays. They are usually no longer than 6 hours on Saturdays My apartments are fenced in and I never leave my door wide open. I am very attentive as well. I often let the fur babies sleep where they feel most comfortable

When we met with Tourie we explained our last dog sitter didn’t tell us but she did not spend the night during the three weeks we hired her. So being with our dogs is important. She didn’t spend a lot of time here, one night not returning til 11:30 and another time she left for another job (we didn’t realize she had another weekend job). We left plenty of homemade dog food which wasn’t touched. A neighbor was so worried she called me to ask if she could go over and let them out. When Tourie arrived late she would stay another hour in her car talking on the phone before going into the house to attend to the dogs. I have a doorbell camera so I was able to see when she arrived and left. I’m grateful she was here but it wasn’t the care we described we wanted for our dogs. Some other things happened - and Rover issued us a partial refund which we are thankful for. I don’t think she takes the job seriously or listens to instructions. Maybe with this review she might get more focused.
Tourie was very punctual and followed all my instructions. I would use definitely her again.
While my dogs were ok and she did feed them and sent pictures ,however; she has too much personal stuff that interfered with her responsibilities as a dog sitter for me and unfortunately she has lost my trust in her being my dog sitter again.
Tourie kept us up to date throughout the week regarding the animals. She answered all the questions I had in a very timely manner. She was so wonderful with all our animals even our reactive dog. She also sent pictures throughout the week we were gone. Definitely will be booking with her again!
