Safety, trust & environment

I cannot board in my home, but I would be happy to keep your furbaby (or scaled or feathered baby) comfy in your home while you’re away. In my professional work I’ve upheld the highest standards of safety, comfort, and care for all pets, including those with special needs (medicating, extra walks, mobility assistance, etc).

Information Tierra I. would like to know about your pet

I’d like to know how your pets get along with each other if you have multiples, if they like to play escape artist, their play style, and if they have any anxiety/reactivity triggers. It’s also important for me to know about allergies, other medical conditions, and whether they are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.

A typical day

I like to get an idea of your pets favorite activities and tailor my care to them. If you have a couch potato, we’ll get some exercise in before we binge watch our shows and cuddle. If you have a high energy pup/kitty, we’re playing fetch and chase (or with laser pointers and cat enrichment toys) and practicing our basic obedience with short rest periods.

Can I pet that dawg?

Pet care experience

I come from an animal loving family, and began volunteering at shelters when I was 13. In 2018, after years of pet sitting for friends and family, I jumped into a full time career working with animals. I have 4 years of kennel technician and doggy daycare experience, and I’ve been a veterinary receptionist since 2022. In that time I have also been a veterinary assistant, training assistant, and grooming assistant when my coworkers needed extra help. I have the knowledge and skills to care for dogs of all sizes, cats (even the spicy ones), and birds, including those with medical conditions requiring extra care.

Tierra was great with our cat. She was able to administer her medication while we were out of town and give her some love. She was also great with communication and giving updates while we were gone, which were much appreciated.

Terra was an exceptional pet sitter. We have multiple pets with diverse personalities, and she effortlessly managed to engage with all of them. Our pets are Covid pets who struggle with changes in their routines, and Terra demonstrated remarkable patience with them.

Tierra is an intelligent & resourceful individual who would make an excellent & reliable Pet-Sitter and/or Dog Walker for anyone who hires her. Tierra has demonstrated her ability to get along with a variety of dogs (and cats) at the veterinary clinic where she worked. My own dog, Maggie-Mae, an Australian Cattle dog who is quite selective about which humans she interacts with, adores Tierra and would always seek her out at the clinic. Tierra is also a calm, cheerful person with great communications skills with both humans and animals. I would hire her to walk my dog and feel confident that Tierra could handle any situation encountered in the park or neighborhood. Tierra is a responsible individual and I know that if she was staying in my home taking care of my dog and cat, that they would be well taken care of, and that Tierra would ensure they were kept safe and secure during my absence. In summary, Tierra is an exceptional person and I believe you will be pleased with her performance if you hire her for your company.
