I live and work full time locally, so I organize my work day around my pet care responsibilities. Pets in my care aren’t left alone. Potty breaks are structured throughout the day to minimize stress from deviation from their usual home routine. I’m also able to administer most pet medications.

My yard is not fenced, so your dog or cat will be safely inside with me during his or her stay. Your dog can also be crated, if needed, to help him or her feel safe snd calm. Each afternoon, your pup will get a long walk with me in my neighborhood, including time to walk and explore the woods on or off leash as appropriate.

A typical day
We’ll take long walks in the woods or near streams or we can play fetch (or with a string toy, for cats) or chill out over a mellow grooming session.

Therese was great! She met up with us before she walked our elderly dog so we felt comfortable. (Which she didn’t have to!) She was on time for the walk sending pictures and giving an update. We will certainly use her again!.

Therese has taken care of my dog several times and she is always great! My pup is well taken care of by her and happy. Therese will always take my dog on fun adventures and is so caring and gentle with all animals. Could not highly request enough!
We were so grateful that Therese was available to dog sit our girl, KC, when we were out of town for a few days. KC is a fifty pound leash reactive husky mix. Because of her leash reactivity, KC needs special care and attention on walks. Therese was very knowledgeable about reactivity and the management tools we use on walks (positive reinforcement only, nothing aversive). She was kind and understanding with KC and made her feel very comfortable while we were away. Therese was also communicative with us and left our home in great condition. We would be more than happy for Therese to sit or walk KC again.
