Let your furkids join my pack
Are you worried your fur kid is bored while you are at work? Do you have a trip where dogs aren't allowed? Do you have an only dog child who seems lonely? I'm available to check in on, cuddle, and treat, at your home, or daycare in my home with my well-behaved dogs. I have a big escape-proof backyard and lots of time to spend with all the fur kids. While at my house, dogs are allowed anywhere they want to sleep. I am also available for pick up and delivery for vet visits, and groomer appointments. I've 30 years of experience working with dogs as an owner, breeder, therapy dog partner, and rescue group director. I've pretty much seen it all with small dogs. I also have experience with big birds (cockatoos, macaws, African gray and South American parrots, and cockatiels). I love almost all animals. I'm retired and so can pretty much fit additional pet care into my daily schedule. I've managed multiple pets for many years, including Japanese Chin rescues, who often had special physical and emotional needs. I have a large fenced yard and friendly dogs for your's to play with at my house. If I come to you, I will spend enough time to make sure your fur kids are happy.

Theresa is a true dog lover and was so great with our anxious little Bojangles. Her home is well equipped for puppy play and napping. Theresa was communicative and friendly. Her knowledge of dogs and pet care was obvious and I feel confident that all of Bojangles needs were cared for while he was staying with Theresa. We would happily use Theresa as our pet sitter in the future.
A+! Extremely experienced, trustworthy, and great with dogs! I have known Theresa for decades and have seen personally the top-notch care she gives to her animals. She has helped dog rescue organizations and also bred and showed dogs. There is nothing she has not experienced or seen in dogs! She also understands the needs of flat-faced breeds and assorted temperaments. Highly recommended!
Theresa was wonderful! She was very welcoming and accommodating! Her home was a perfect place for our dog Jimmy, who is older, has a bit of anxiety and not super social...likes to watch from a distance! She has a wonderful yard for your dog to go out and enjoy, play or just soak up some sunshine! Theresa is a very caring, knowledgable, experienced dog lover! We will have our Jimmy stay with her again...I feel he would even start to look forward to it, if we took him frequently enough!
My two dogs had a wonderful stay at Theresa's. Treasure had a little harder time adjusting after long days of travel and got the attention she needed. They are lap dogs and were held a lot. They had lots of toys to play with and got along with her dogs. It was very hot during their stay there so they spent mornings outside and inside during the heat. This was their second stay there and I would definitely use Theresa again.
Theresa is awesome! And we highly recommend her ! She is both passionate about dogs and professional. -She showed up at the arranged time, brought my dog treats and gifts and always sent pictures of us pictures of him enjoying her visits. Will definitely call her next time we need dog care.
Theresa is amazing and I highly recommend her! I have two elderly chihuahuas and finding someone who not only knows how to care for toy breed dogs but also is set up to care for them is a challenge. I made last-minute plans to go out of town for a few days (contingent on finding a pet sitter) and, after contacting several sitters, I chose Theresa because of her knowledge of toy breeds and because my dogs would be cared for in her home as if they were part of her little back. I’m extremely picky about pet care and Theresa’s home caters to the tiniest of dogs as everything inside and outside her home is geared for the little ones (beds, potty pads, baby gates, water dishes, etc.). She has extensive experience in pet care such as nutrition, health, behavior, and conformation.

Harmonogram
I am gratefully retired so I'm home all the time. My husband is retired too and serves as the assistant caregiver as well as the chief petting officer. I'm an early riser and he is a late-night guy so your kids are covered with an awake adult about 18 hours a day.

I have a secure, double-fenced yard, a large house with lots of beds, and plenty of time for cuddling. My house is entirely dog-friendly, with hardwood floors and a special room for feeding the furkids.

My day is usually "let the dogs out...let the dogs in...let the dogs out..." I guess you get the picture. I go out with the fur kids in the mornings and we play chase or cuddle. During the day, we can go for short walks, weather permitting, or just cuddle up and watch movies and play with toys.
