Patient, Attentive Care for Pets
I’ve taken care of pets my entire life (dogs, cats, horses, cows etc.). Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in, feed, walk, and spend quality time with their pets. I’m patient, responsible, and attentive, and I make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I grew up with blue heelers, so I’m very comfortable with high-energy dogs and understand the importance of exercise and engagement. I also have a senior dog (2012) and two French bulldogs, so I’m used to being attentive to different needs, energy levels, and routines. I have experience with both active and more relaxed or older pets, and I always try to match their pace and personality. I’ll treat your pet like my own and make sure you feel confident and at ease while you’re away. (I do not have experience with exotic pets like birds, fish, reptiles, or small mammals like guinea pigs but am willing to learn)

I always prioritize safety, consistency, and making pets feel comfortable in their environment. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their pet’s normal routine—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions—so things feel familiar and low-stress. I pay close attention to behavior, energy levels, and any changes to make sure pets are doing well. I’m very mindful about safety during walks and visits, including secure leashing, monitoring surroundings, and keeping a clean, calm environment. I also respect your home and make sure everything is left exactly how I found it. With my own dogs, I’m used to managing different needs and personalities, including a senior dog and two French bulldogs, so I understand how important supervision, patience, and attentiveness are. My goal is always to make both you and your pet feel safe, comfortable, and confident while you’re away.

Zeitplan
Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I have a consistent schedule and am able to plan my day around visits, walks, and check-ins. I already care for my own dogs daily, so feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and attention are a regular part of my routine. I’m reliable with timing and understand how important consistency is for pets. I’m a teacher about to begin summer break and will have an flexible schedule with early morning, afternoon and evening availability.
