Pet friends wanted!
I grew up in the country surrounded by dogs of all kinds, along with several cats. Since childhood, pets have always been a part of my life, and many have stayed with us from their early days to their golden years. Although we don’t currently have any pets in our home, we deeply miss the companionship they bring. After losing our beloved dog, Ranger, to lymphoma three years ago and our cherished 14-year-old cat, Jack, last year, we've felt a void that only the presence of animals can truly fill. Over the years, I’ve welcomed family pets into my home whenever loved ones needed a safe and caring place for them—whether during vacations or just for a break. I take great care in handling animals, love giving cuddles, and have fun providing playtime. And I have no doubt that your four-legged friend and I will enjoy our walks together, soaking up some fresh air and getting in some well-deserved exercise!

Teri was amazing! She is extremely responsive and communicative. We loved receiving pictures of our pup, Apple, and seeing how much fun she was having while staying with Teri. Apple made herself right at home and had a great time, we will definitely be reaching back out again in the future!
Teri is wonderful! Before booking, I scheduled a meet-and-greet, and my dog loved her right away. My dog usually takes a while to warm up to new people, but she immediately felt comfortable and safe with Teri. While Sonny stayed with her, Teri kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me great peace of mind. She was communicative, caring, and clearly treated Sonny like one of her own. If you're looking for a dog sitter in Castle Rock, I highly recommend Teri. She’s amazing and will care for your pet like family.
Fantastic communication and sweet care for our baby! Our usual sitter had an emergency and had to cancel last minute, but Miss Teri came to the rescue and took fantastic care of Denver the entire time we were gone!
Teri was absolutely wonderful! Her home is very warm and welcoming, and it immediately made me confident that my kitty would be comfortable and well cared for during his stay. I received lots of cute photos and daily updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Teri was also very responsive and quick to reply to any messages or questions. My flight back home was delayed, and she was incredibly flexible and accommodating by allowing me to pick Yoshi up later in the evening, which I truly appreciated. If you're looking for a caring, reliable, and communicative sitter, I highly recommend Teri 100%!
Rambo absolutely loved his time with Teri! She sent us photos and/or video updates daily with a summary of how great he was doing with her. Teri truly cares about your dog, and it really shows in her communication and interaction with them. Rambo was extremely happy in her care, and we trust her completely. We are so grateful to have found Teri, and we definitely plan to have her care for Rambo again in the future. (We know Rambo looks forward to it, as well!)
Teri is an excellent care giver. I think Lace found her "other person". Teri sent pictures daily of Lace doing things she only does at home, sleeping on the bed, relaxing looking out the window, and exploring everything. Normally I'm told she hides when she is away from home. I felt at ease knowing Lace was well cared for. Thank you, Teri! I look forward to Lace having many more stays at Teri's home!

Schedule
I currently work part-time from home, which gives me plenty of time to provide attentive care for your pet. My availability is as follows: Weekdays: I offer short-term boarding with preferred drop-off/pick-up times between 7 AM to 8 PM. Weekends (Saturday & Sunday): I offer short-term boarding with preferred drop-off/pick-up times between 8 AM to 9 PM. I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s needs and ensure they receive the care and attention they deserve!

I have gates to keep dogs secured if needed, a medium-sized kennel, a few dog toys, a Furminator brush for grooming cats, large bowls for food/water, and will provide plenty of love and attention!
A typical day
Although I don’t have a yard due to living in an apartment-style home, I make up for it with frequent walks around my very dog-friendly neighborhood, allowing your pup to take all the stops they want to explore the sights and smells. During downtime, your pet can relax on comfy couches, curl up beside me while I work, or lounge on our balcony to soak up the sunshine on nice days. For my feline friends, we have plenty of windows to let in natural light, along with spacious window ledges where they can perch and enjoy the view. Just a quick note: My home is cozy and best suited for smaller and/or more relaxed pets. If your furry friend is on the larger side or has lots of energy, my space may not be the most comfortable fit for them.

Please note that due to condo regulations, I’m unable to offer daycare or boarding for dogs with a history of loud or persistent barking, as well as breeds typically classified as aggressive (e.g., Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Bulldogs, etc.). Additionally, I have a 25-pound lifting limit, so if your pet exceeds this weight, I may not be the best fit for their care. Thank you for your understanding!
