I’ve cared for dogs for as long as I can remember and raising my easygoing Chihuahua, Chico, since he was a puppy gave me hands on experience in all aspects of dog care. During our time together, I successfully potty trained him, taught him basic commands, and cultivated a calm demeanor. I also handled all his grooming needs, from trimming his nails and cleaning his ears to providing oral care and bathing. In addition to caring for Chico, I’ve looked after pets for friends and family, gaining experience with different personalities and needs. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for two years, where I helped care for both dogs and cats. There, I learned valuable skills like socializing cats and dog walking techniques. My love for animals started early; growing up, I spent my summers on my grandparents' farm, where I formed a deep bond with their dogs and cats. They usually had 2 to 3 dogs and a cat, and I cherished every moment with them.
