Caring for a senior dog taught me the importance of consistency, gentle attention, and creating a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I understand how important it is to treat every pet with the same care, patience, and attention I would want for my own. In addition, I regularly support a friend by feeding, walking, and caring for his dog when he is working late or out of town. This has given me ongoing experience with leash walking, feeding schedules, and making sure dogs feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I am reliable, attentive, and committed to following each dog’s specific needs and instructions to provide the best possible care.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, litter box care, medication (if needed), and any specific routines or preferences. I aim to keep pets in their normal routine as much as possible so they feel calm, secure, and comfortable in their environment. For dogs, I ensure safe leash handling, stay alert on walks, and choose appropriate routes based on their energy and needs. For cats, I provide gentle care, clean litter boxes, and give them space and attention based on their personality. I treat every home with respect and make sure pets are never left without proper care during their scheduled visits.

Tempestt and I met while we were taking our dogs to the vet. Tempestt’s care for her dog, Shadow, was so kind and caring. After discussing and exchanging ideas about caring for our aging dogs, we swapped numbers. A few weeks later I had to go out of town for a work emergency, I texted Tempestt see her interest/willingness to take care of my dog (Wally) during the days while my wife was at work. Tempestt agreed and was so helpful. She took care of Wally as if he was her own. Wally was well-fed, walked and given his medication on time. Tempestt was dependable and reliable and very communicative. Getting texts from her walking Wally were highlights of my day. While Wally is gone, Tempestt now walks my our new puppy, Willow. Sometimes I think Willow loves Tempestt more than she loves her human parents (jokes- but speaks to Tempestt character). I strongly recommend Tempestt as she will take care of your dog as if they are her own!

Schedule
I work a hybrid schedule, which allows me to consistently build pet care into my week and provide dependable attention. On in-office days, I make sure pets are cared for before and after work with reliable morning and evening walks or drop-ins before and after work. On remote days, I have more flexibility for midday walks, check-ins, and companionship. I prioritize making sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and on a steady routine, and I plan my schedule around their needs so they receive consistent, attentive care without feeling rushed.
