With every dog I've ever had or pet sat, I always monitor them to see how much they eat and if they'd rather be alone or not. My own dog gets breakfast, lunch and dinner - His water bowl is changed after every meal. He gets 1 bath every month (unless urgently needed) and the basics of nail clipping, ear cleaning and teeth brushing. My cats are more self sufficient but their bowls are refilled every night, water changed every 48 hours. A bath is given every 4-6 months, unless urgently needed or they generally stink. On occasion (at least once a month) I trim my cousins cats nails and brush out their fur. He is a large cat with a double coat and extremely feisty personality, I've learned to be patient and understanding when he isn't in the mood nor focused on being groomed anymore. I don't, unfortunately, offer in-home boarding as my own cats and dog are not good with others. So I will be up to checking in with a pet, crating if needed, bathing and trimming nails! I only ask that you inform my ahead of time if they are good with the bath or nail trimmers. If they aren't I would like to take the time to get to know them and allow them to get comfortable with me before we begin any sort of 'grooming' for my safety and your fur baby's!
Informacje, które Teanna B. chce poznać na temat Twojego zwierzaka
I 100% would love to know everything their is about your pet beforehand! As an owner of many pets (including reptiles and a few aquatic pets like turtles and water frogs!), I've grown accustomed to almost all animals that people have in their home. But it's more important for the safety of your pet and myself, that I know what their likes and dislikes are, whether their shy or very approachable. What spaces they call theirs and what may make them uncomfortable. It's hard for some pets to get used to strangers, even if it's someone you know–I'd really like for them to be as comfortable as possible. That way it's easier for them and myself to be able to get along and play all day! (Or nap!) Tell me all the special needs they may have, or even the weird things they may do (harmless or not!) As they are extremely important.

It truly depends on the pet and their parent! For dogs who have high energy or have just shown that throughout their day their all play–I'll use the resources provided and explore the best options for them(ex. If their allowed to use the outdoors–whether a park, backyard or fenced off dog place). Eat lunch (or breakfast and dinner–although im assuming its around lunch) or just have down time for the both of us before its back to some play and getting to know them more (in case I come back!!). The same would go for those less active, but not so much play–more using your brain or just making up smaller games that are easier for them to use up their enegry but still have fun!! Or just lay in a corner and be introverts together. Some pets value their space and quiet time as much as the energized ones love their freedom to run free!

Doświadczenie w opiece nad zwierzętami
I've been dealing with animals since I was 9! Officially got my first cat when I was 10 and from then on I have been dealing with kittens, puppies and grown pets ever since! I've cleaned small cat scratches and bite wounds from bigger dogs. I've walked dogs over 80 pounds and 1 great dane, I've bathed (but unfortunately not gotten into the grooming) dogs and cats, trimmed nails, cleaned and brushed fur. During 2023 I was able to do my own co-op time at Petopia(a dog daycare) where I was able to learn how to deal with dogs with varying temperaments, personalities and interests! With the help of google I was even able to help my own dog out of constipation. I've also begun to pet sit for my uncle's dog, who used to be a puppy I helped raise! Also including my cousins two old chihuahuas and another cousins extremely chunky and skittish cat!! As an extra bonus, I've also had a little experience in reptiles and aquatic animals–as well as dealing with reactive dogs(my own dog is reactive. But please note, I am not certified or licensed or even a professional when it comes to reactive dogs–just extremely willing to continue learning about how to make their lives easier.)

Recenzje
Teanna B. cancelled a booking within a day of the start date.

Teanna was great. She was considerate of the weather and made sure Dave was warm and comfortable. Thank you!

Thanks Teanna, great service and I'll definitely reach out if I need extra walks in the future

Teanna did a great job taking my big husky on long walks in our neighborhood. My dog was very happy when I returned home.
