Hi, I’m Tanis! I’m a lifelong dog lover who knows pets are family. I’ve spent the past 13 years as a proud pitbull mom, have frequent extended visits from my granddog, and am the self-proclaimed “neighborhood dog auntie”! Whether your dog is an energetic adventurer or a laid-back snuggler, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I follow your pup’s routine, give them plenty of love and attention, and keep you updated with photos so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. From long walks on the near-by path, playtime in the spacious fenced backyard to cozy cuddle sessions to make sure they get the perfect mix of fun and comfort. I offer day time and overnight care in my home and love meeting new furry friends. Let’s set up a meet & greet so your dog can give me the sniff test! I can’t wait to meet them!

Nacho had another great week of “vacation” with Tanis! It is so nice to be able to take a family trip and know that our pup is well-cared for in a home environment rather than a kennel. 10/10 ⭐️.
🐾 This was our first time leaving our two dogs with Tanis. From our initial meeting I immediately felt at ease with leaving them in her care. Tanis is very attentive and obviously a genuine dog lover. I could not be happier to have found her and would not hesitate to book with her again. 🐾
This was our first time using the Rover App and booking Tanis - everything was 10/10! Tanis made it a true “vacation experience” for our pup with a lot of activities and all the comforts of her home! We received lots of pics and updates which allowed us to be away and know that Nacho was well looked after. I’ve already re-booked Tanis for 2 more “vacations” for my pup!
Lucy & Penny enjoyed their vacation with Tanis. Provides frequent updates & pictures. Dogs came home happy and were well taken care of :)

Zeitplan
I was a proud pet parent for my adult life as well as my beloved childhood pets. I have decided to take a break from full time pet-mom-ing but miss having the lovable fur balls around. My days were generally spent with a morning hang in the back yard and any food/treats/meds. Working from home allows me to open doors for frequent potty breaks and giving pets and skritches as required. Usually have sleepy or snoring pup as my office mate. Lunch time walks are a must! After work we have some down time in the back yard and then supper. We can’t skip the after supper walk then usually a bit of play in the back yard or playing toys inside (I have a great magic trick they love!) Then time for potty routines and wind down with fluffy blankets for bed!
