Hi! I’m Sydney, I’ve been dogsitting on and off since 2018 and have 3 family dogs back home in Ohio. I recently moved to CT and I’m looking to dog sit because I miss my dogs so much! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, my dogs include a yorkie, chihuahua mix, and doberman lab mix! All of our dogs are rescues so I grew up handling many behavioral issues such as separation anxiety, leash reactivity, resource guarding, & general anxiety in dogs. All of the dog training I’ve done has been through positive reinforcement. I will prioritize following your instructions and attempt to recreate your dogs routine as if you were home! A little more about me- I’m an environmental engineer and I love being active and creative in my free time! I love all animals, in addition to dogs I have a bearded dragon, a horse, and an axolotl! I volunteer at an equestrian center for kids with disabilities every weekend and love every second of it! I enjoy hiking and running so if you have an active dog I am happy to go on long walks or runs if they enjoy that! I’m also happy to spend time with a couch potato pup:)
