I've been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my mother trained large-breed dogs, and that's where my passion for dogs, obedience, and understanding each dog's unique personality began. From confident and energetic to shy, anxious, or reactive, I believe every pet deserves patient, compassionate care tailored to their individual needs. I'm Pet First Aid certified and prioritize safety, enrichment, and positive experiences during every visit. I have a special place in my heart for senior pets and take extra care to ensure they're comfortable, relaxed, and supported at their own pace. I also grew up around farm animals, giving me experience with a wide variety of species and temperaments. For six years, I volunteered helping train service dogs for people with medical needs, which strengthened my understanding of consistency, trust, and the incredible bond between people and animals. At home, I share my life with two Dachshunds whose unpredictable personalities have taught me even more about patience, respectful handling, and reading canine body language. Those experiences have reinforced the importance of meeting every dog where they are and building trust through calm, positive interactions.
