My only child is my fur-baby so he gets a lot of attention, walks, and play time. Since I work full-time as a teacher, I have wide availability during the summer and holidays. During the school year, I walk the dog daily as soon as I get home (4:30PM) and during the summer, we walk in the morning before it gets hot.

I am accommodating to reasonable requests such as special diets and feeding times/situations. I have a large wire kennel available for crating if that is what your dog is used to. I use child/dog gates to block the front door and prevent escapes but there is a huge fenced in backyard on my double lot for playing fetch, running, and exploring. I rarely have guests over and will schedule around your pet's visit if new people are a concern for you.

Let me know if your dog has any special conditions I should be aware of. I can administer medication and adhere to special diets, or provide a separate room for feeding or nighttime. Please let me know how your dog gets along with other dogs as well as how your dog communicates his/her needs- outside, food, attention, displeasure, etc. My dog is a loud barker and gets very energetic around new people for the first 5 minutes. He is not alpha and adapts to the play style of other dogs. He is frequently around an 8 lb. King Charles and is very sweet and gentle with her. Also, he is frequently around 2 labs of which he plays rowdy with the younger and leaves the senior lab alone.

We start our mornings between 6-7AM with feeding then play in the yard. During the summer, we like to walk 1-2 miles before it gets too hot out. I will bring water for breaks and bags for clean-up. There are about 3 different routes we follow that consider shade, open grassy spots, and avoiding some of the energetic/loud dogs in the neighborhood. The dogs are let out into the backyard every 2-4 hours throughout the day and water is kept clean and filled. In the afternoon we do some inside playtime with toys, balls, bones. If the weather is nice, we sometimes do a second walk. After some down time and evening feeding, I have my own meal and we hang out in the living room where toys are available again.

Hello! Since the young age of 6, there has always been a dog in my family! I have attended obedience training with my current dog and have experience administering insulin to cats and pill medications to dogs. I have experience working with dogs with anxiety.

Suzanna is so kind and caring. She is very patient with our old boy and all his medical needs and really works to make sure he has a positive experience with her.
