Pet care experience
While with us, it’s a full family effort to ensure they’re comfortable, happy, and well-cared for. We take our guests for pack walks through our neighbourhood, hikes on the Macintosh Run, and even family trips to Point Pleasant Park. When your dog stays with us, they’ll receive structure, exercise, and all the attention they deserve! Along with Rover, Spencer also owns and operates Waggin’ Wheels Mobile Dog Gym, Halifax’s first and only mobile dog gym. When you book with us, your dog has the option to train on the slatmills during their stay. In addition to other forms of exercise, slatmills offer a high-intensity, low-impact workout and provide great mental stimulation during your dog’s stay.

Your dog’s well-being and comfort comes first when they stay with us. Our home offers a secure fenced in yard for supervised play with our dogs. They will have separate feedings to ensure uninterrupted mealtime. During outings, your dog with be on a lead or one of our many long leads. We maintain consistent open communication with you to address any issues effectively and provide multiple (sometimes several) photos/videos a day.

A typical day
We're an active household surrounded by scenic trails and green areas. Your furry companion can look forward to daily walks, invigorating hikes, and playtime at the park. One of our favorite spots for walks is the beautiful Macintosh Run trail right behind our house. Additionally, I am passionate about training and can work with your dog on basic commands and exposure training, such as visits to pet-friendly places like Home Depot.
