Dogs have such a special place in my heart and I love spending time with them — whether that’s walking, playing or simply keeping them company. I’ve been lucky enough to care for my friend’s corgi on several occasions, including a two-week stay while they were on holiday. We quickly settled into our own little routine of walks, games and cuddles, and when his birthday came around, I couldn’t resist taking him to the beach for a celebratory adventure complete with his favourite treats! Watching his excitement and joy that day is one of my favourite memories. I really enjoy getting to know each dog’s quirks and personality — whether they’re cheeky and playful, curious explorers, or more relaxed and cuddly. I’m patient and attentive and I’ll always treat your dog as if they were part of my own family. For me, it’s not just about the practical side of walking and feeding, but also about giving your dog comfort, companionship and care. I have experience of walking up to 4 dogs at a time, as well as dog sitting, overnight care at my house and cat care. I also have experience of administering oral medication.

Sophie is amazing!!! So happy to have found her. Scout had absolutely loved his day care, and it’s so reassuring to know he’s safe and being loved and cared for by Sophie while I’m working.
Sophie regularly takes care of my cat Freddie when I’m away. She’s so attentive and always makes sure he has regular meals, access to water, fun toys and has also administered flea/wormer treatments when needed.
Sophie regularly looks after my corgi when we go away for a few days. He adores her and gets an excitable waggy tail every time he sees her! She is so great at providing care, making him feel safe and loved. She always takes him on at least 2 walks a day and sends me regular photos of my little baby which I love to receive. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

Harmonogram
Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine, as I currently have an hybrid working arrangement and work from home around 3 days per week. I’m also available most weekday evenings after 5pm and throughout weekends, giving me lots of time for dog walks, play and companionship. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so I look forward to fitting my schedule around their needs and making sure they get the love and attention they deserve.

I take safety and comfort very seriously when caring for pets. In your home, I’ll always respect your routines and follow your instructions carefully to make sure your pet feels secure and happy. With my own cats, I’ve gained experience understanding different personalities and needs — from energetic youngsters to older pets who require extra gentleness. I’m reliable, attentive and will treat your pet as if they were my own, providing regular updates so you have peace of mind while you’re away. I understand that not all pets are comfortable around cats, so if I’m caring for your pet in my home, I can easily keep them separate from my two cats. I have plenty of space to create a calm, pet-friendly environment and I’ll always make sure your pet feels safe and settled. Your pet’s comfort will be my priority, whether that means supervised introductions or keeping them in their own space.

A typical day with me will include plenty of walks, playtime and affection. I like to make sure dogs are stimulated both physically and mentally — whether that’s through exploring new routes in the neighbourhood, sniffing out all the exciting smells in the park or playing their favourite games. For dogs who enjoy a gentler pace, I’m just as happy to spend quiet time together with cuddles and company. I’ll always adapt to your dog’s needs and routine so they feel comfortable and content.
