I’m a pre-vet student at Colorado State University, and I have worked with and had pets for my whole life. I volunteer regularly at Animal Friends Alliance and The Milo Foundation, taking care of cats and dogs of all sizes and ages, from puppies to seniors. I also volunteer around the clinic at Marin Humane Society, prepping and taking care of recovering animals after procedures. I have pet sit for friends and family for the past 6 years, walking, feeding, and playing with their animals. Around my house I am the dedicated person to administer any medications and teach new tricks!

As a pre-vet student I take animal safety seriously, always being gentle and making sure to notice any signs of fatigue or weakness. I make sure to stay in the proper areas while petting unless the animal is comfortable with me going further. I clean all messes that the pets make, whether it’s fecal matter, vomit, or anything else. On walks, I am careful around other dogs even if the pet I’m walking is kind, you never know the reactivity of other dogs on the street. I’m always sure to make the pets feel cared for, happy, and loved!

Sophie was so amazing with my dog Anchor, she took her on a nice long walk, making sure she was comfortable and that she went potty. And when she got back she played with him for a bit before leaving. She’s house sat for us a couple times and always kept the house nice and tidy, and had the animals happy and fed!

Zeitplan
I am a very flexible person! I am a full time student at the moment, with classes in the mornings and early afternoons on all weekdays during the semester. But I am dedicated to animal care and love to spend time with pets. I also volunteer regularly throughout the week, but those shifts are moveable.

- I need to know any fears or adversities they may have, if they are wary around large groups, other dogs, men etc. I walk dogs at local shelters so I understand every type of fear, from hats, to children, to specific types of people. I also would love to know of any behavioral issues, medications, or special requests. Dietary needs have to be expressed for treats and foods if those are going to be given. Also please disclose if your pets are jumpy or mouthy, or if they are reactive to certain types of touch, or are territorial etc
