Life long animal person, from a young age I took care of farm animals like chickens, goats, pigs, sheep, cats. In my adult life i got a dog. I love working and learning with my dog. A few years ago I started volunteering and fostering through the Berrien county animal services. I truly love fostering and the difference it makes! I plan to foster for a long time. Sophie is a friendly and wonderful pet caretaker. She goes above and beyond for the animals within her care. Sophie has told me she is in training to become a professional dog trainer, therefore very knowledgeable about dog behaviors among a variety of breeds and attitudes among pets.

Schedule
I work part-time very close to home. I pride myself on prioritizing quality time to animals in my care. I have strict boundaries on the quality of care I want to provide so I do not take on more than I feel comfortable with. providing a safe emotional environment for your pets is my top priority

Safety, trust & environment
I have a big yard with a small portion fenced in. I utilize the fenced in area for play and hanging out with dogs. I love hanging out with the pets inside also, I have raised beds set out in the house for relaxing and plenty of couches the dogs are welcome to enjoy. I use crates and gates in the house for peace of mind and relaxation when I am out of the house.
