I would strongly advise against hiring Sophia as a dog sitter. She was supposed to stay overnight with my dogs, but if she did, it was only to show up late at night and leave early in the morning. At no point did my dogs receive the consistent care and attention they were promised. Most of the time, she only stopped by for a couple of minutes to let them out and then left, completely neglecting the responsibilities she agreed to. My dogs were left alone, stressed, and uncared for. When I had someone else check on them, they found dry urine on the floor and one of my pillows chewed up — damage I was never even informed about. The lack of honesty made the situation even worse. Because of her complete disregard for my pets, I had to cut my vacation short and come home early just to make sure they were safe. What makes this even more unacceptable is that Sophia was clearly informed that one of my dogs had a UTI and required extra bathroom breaks and attention. Instead of caring for them properly, she ignored that responsibility, leaving my dog uncomfortable and my home a mess. This was unprofessional, careless, and unacceptable. Sophia proved she cannot be trusted to care for animals or respect someone’s home. If you care about your pets’ health and safety, do not make the mistake of hiring her.
