I work 14hrs per week and can be quite flexible about when I do these. Angie works about 32hrs per week, and we're used to collaborating and communicating to make sure that animal companions are cared for and have everything they need while we're working. We like having animals near us while we work and our employers are understanding about the occasional need to duck out of a meeting for animal toilet trips, and are happy for animals to join video calls! We like to get out of the house and take a longer lunchbreak so making sure that dogs get a good walk fits well into our working days.

We have a back garden that is fenced on one side, with a low wall on the other. When looking after animals we stay in regular contact with their humans and are always happy to send photos and videos of their animals so that they can see how everything is going.

Would be great to know about their temperament, habits, needs, preferences and personalities in general. In particular how they are when going for a walk, and how they relate to other dogs, people, other animals, cars, fireworks (if it's that time of year) etc. Also how you communicate with them (e.g. key words to encourage them to go to the toilet, for recall etc.) I really just want to make sure that they're as happy and safe as can be while they're with us.

I'll tailor the day to the needs of your dog. We have a couple of parks of varying sizes nearby, so we can take a nice long walk or pop out for a shorter one if that's more appropriate. If your dog has toys, we can have plenty of playtime. And if they're up for a cwtch, so are we!

My partner Angie and I have decades of experience looking after various animals—our own, and other people's—and absolutely love spending time with them. Our lovely old dog Mabel recently passed away. She was 17yrs and 9mths. She was a wonderful companion who was with Angie from a puppy, and who I got to know from when Mabel was around 9yrs old. She lost her sight at 10, so needed a lot of extra support, but she adapted and led a full and happy life. As she got older, she slowed down a lot, so we would take her out for walks in a doggy backpack (on hard surfaces) and a slow amble on the grass out of the bag, and later, a doggy pushchair. We loved her a lot and miss her deeply! Angie also has experience of looking after a very nervous rescue dog, and is attuned the special needs a dog like this might have. In addition to growing up with cats, I was an experienced Airbnb host before Angie and Mabel moved in in 2019. Now that we’re living together and working from home it's not really practical, but I enjoyed giving guests a warm welcome and ensuring that our home was clean and comfortable for their arrival. More recently we've been enjoying house and petsitting (cats, dogs, birds, even alpacas!) We both appreciate the importance of caring for other people's homes and animals, and we'll be sure to care for yours as if they were our own.

Siôn did an exceptional job of looking after my Great Dane, Morgan, and my home, while I was away recently. He responded quickly to my initial request, was punctual at our meet and greet and in turning up to look after Morgan, asked all the right questions showing thought and responsibility, was flexible and really helpful in some changing arrangements I had to make, sent regular updates and photos, was communicative... Honestly, all that you could ask for in a first-class sitter. He and his partner Angie (who also deserves a shout out) also left my home in immaculate condition - even down to stripping the bed and sorting the dishwasher! I have no hesitation in recommending Siôn and Angie wholeheartedly!
Sion was a brilliant sitter for our cat Rodney, and was our go-to whenever we were away, knowing we could trust him completely. He even fended off an over-inquisitive fox that somehow got in through our catflap! Would heartily recommend Sion.
Siôn is not only a peerless pet-sitter, he's also a fundamentally lovely human being. He kept my cat very happy and I can think of no better pet sitter than Siôn and I can recommend him without hesitation. You animals will be well cared for and your dealings with Siôn will be hassle free and wrapped in the warm glow of decency that comes as standard with this thoroughly good egg.
Sion looked after our dogs for over 2 weeks. Both dogs are aging and have their health issues and it was clear that Sion had looked after them with care and compassion for the whole time we were away. He kept us updated regularly together with photos and our house was spotless on our return. We have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him look after your pets.
