Vet/kennel and daycare experience
I’m a receptionist at a vet clinic. I’ve always had a special report with animals. Dog behavior psychology and training is what I love to study and practice. I spent many years working at a vet clinic as a vet assistant, and got a degree in biology. I currently work at Mission Pet Mart, working the Day Care Room as well as the floor. I have also been a pet sitter more informally for many years, for many creatures . I can reinforce obedience training and start it. Depending on the length of stay, I can train basics like sit, down, stay, wait, and heel. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes. Big enough to be a small horse to small enough to be the size of a pocket pet. I’ve also trained deaf and/or blind dogs. I have had a few senior dogs, and know how much extra help they need. Space at my apartment has limited my boarding abilities for larger dogs, but I most certainly can work with large breeds for short periods of time. I’ve worked with skittish and aggressive dogs as well. Does your dog have a behavioral issue? I can help work with that. I also know a bit about food allergies, and nutritional issues when it comes to our canine friends. other concerns? Ask! Animals are my passion and I always want to to whats best for them. They are family to me, and they will get treated as such. If you want, I have worked as a groom assistant also. I don’t do shaves or cuts, but a wash and condition for short hair; longer hair brush out, wash, shampoo, condition, blow dry, brush out again, I can do that!! No worries. Just ask, but it will cost a little extra.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the previous post. Even with an emergency, Signy still delivered. I got many photos and check-ins with Ollie - she even gave him a bath, and sent me home with a toys he loved, and some puppy cookies. Her bf as well is awesome. He did a lot of the work and I’m super satisfied with their care. I highly recommend them! Plus, their building looks/is safe and that gave me a peace of mind. I even had to change the pick up time last minute to 5:30 am and they didn’t hesitate to accommodate and even had him go to the bathroom before pick up. Don’t hesitate to book, she’s awesome.
I would be cautious using Signy as a sitter. Periodic updates and images were not sent of my puppies. This aspect was stressful as a first time experience with both Rover app and Signy. My thorough notes did not appear to be read by her as she was not aware of the scheduled pickup time and feeding instructions for one of my dogs were ignored. I did appreciate her being available last minute.
Signy is a wonderful sitter. I always know my dog Kili is left in good company. Kili has bad anxiety and Signy has been very helpful in accommodating Kili. She helped me find the right thunder jacket to keep Kili comfortable. My dog is always excited to head to Signy’s house for a fun play time. I highly recommend Signy!
Signy is terrific! My dog Sadie was treated like one of the family. Also, Signy sent me plenty of pics. It felt like I left my dog with a friend. I appreciated how flexible Signy was with my drop off and pick up times. So easy to work with!
This was my first experience with Rover and it went well. Signy was wonderful. I could tell my pet was happy with her. I’d choose Signy over my usual vet boarding anytime.
This is the second time our pups have enjoyed the company of Signy and we knew they were going to have a great time based on how excited they were to see her again. Great updates and lots of care for them.

I have a small apartment in a secure building, and a nice court yard in the back. There is also a dog park just across the street! The park has agility equipment to play on.

I love to stimulate your dogs mind. No one likes being bored! We go for walks, play in the dog park, and meet new friends! Inside we chill, play with toys; once your pet is comfortable we can do a fun run through of things they know for treats. This is a good time to work with your dog on anything you’d like to address.
