I work a 9-5 during the week. But, I have family at home so they are there if your pet needs to be let out in between that time as well as there to watch over, play, and care for your pet while I am away. I am home all night and during the weekends.

I have a fenced yard, as well as several parks around my neighborhood for walks and outside play. I have one small 11-year-old Yorkie-Chihuahua, but she likes to keep to herself, and I can have them almost completely separated if necessary. There are a couple young kids in the home but they have been exposed to very large dogs as well as small skittish cats and understand boundaries pets need.
