I'm a full time pet sitter and dog walker. I have another career that's remote 90% of the time. I'm also studying from home with the occasional night class.

I take great care when looking after pets or being in your home. I make sure to follow the instructions given to me closely. I make sure to keep your pet in my eyesight on walks and to also be aware of other pets and people in the area. I have a DBS and my own personal pet insurance. I have a small team of trusted individuals who support my pet sitting aswell. If I needed one of my team members to help me then I would make sure to bring them along to my meeting.

I always prefer to do a meeting for the owner and I to work out if Ill be a good fit and to start building a good Rapport with your pet. Its good to get your personal contact details and any emergency contact details I may need. I like to know the vet that they're registered with in case of an emergency. A detailed list of how to run your house while your away and anything I may need along with the pets feeding schedules and routine.
A typical day
I can entertain your pet based on their interests and needs. I'm a big walker so dog walking is an activity that brings me joy and I could walk up to three hours a day with your dog if their ability can also walk for that long. Playing with a ball for your dog and with string toys with a cat is also something I do.

Pet care experience
I was raised in a pet friendly household always being surrounded and busy looking after them. At its peak we had seven cocker spaniels running about, not including the puppies we would breed every couple of years. We had cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hedgehogs and fish. For the past 3 years I have been working full time as a pet sitter and dog walker. During this time I walked dogs of every size and temperament.

Sidney was absolutely brilliant!!! This was the very first time we hired a pet sitter via a platform, as our usual friend who looks after Whisky and Coka when we are away wasn’t available during this bank holiday weekend. Needless to say that we were very nervous about leaving our cats and flat in the hands of a complete stranger, but Sidney felt trustworthy from minute one, when he came to meet us beforehand last weekend. He did a really great job during the two visits we booked! Whisky needs to take a medication twice a day, but that didn’t seem to much trouble at all for Sidney; He embraced the task and gave Whisky his meds without a hiccup, which greatly reassured us! He followed all instructions very diligently and we will book Sidney again with great pleasure in the future. Thanks again for everything, Sidney!!!
Sidney is a really reliable, considerate cat sitter who gave us the peace of mind to enjoy our trip away knowing that Myla was fed at the right times and her food, water and litter tray kept immaculately. Sidney also texted an update on Myla at each visit. I would thoroughly recommend him.
Sidney was very attentive, and responded quickly when there was some confusion about the first visit. My cat Case was very good at hiding, but Sidney made sure Case was okay every visit.
