Dedicated, Supervised Care Throughout the Day As I work from home, your pet receives a lot of companionship. All outside activities, including potty breaks, are closely monitored for safety. We maintain a structured routine with frequent bathroom breaks (approximately every couple of hours) and several dedicated play sessions daily. To keep minds and bodies active, I utilize a variety of enrichment toys for mental stimulation and exercise, even incorporating basic "sit" and impulse control training into our fun! I also offer training packages.

Safety First: Protocols for Your Pet's Well-being Your pet’s safety and health are my absolute top priorities. I maintain rigorous standards to ensure a clean and secure environment for all my guests: Health & Certifications: I am certified in Pet CPR by the American Red Cross. Copies of current vaccinations are required for all guests. All guests must be up-to-date on vet-prescribed heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Facility & Supervision: My backyard is fully secured with a concrete perimeter wall, providing a safe space for outdoor play. I utilize gates to separate rooms and secure all outside access doors, preventing unauthorized access. For safety, all dogs are fed separately. If I must run errands, all pet families are kept separated and secure. I accept senior dogs and if preferred offer a separate, quiet space. I accept vaccinated puppies (under 1 year) and can provide a secure, "puppy proof" indoor play area/yard. For the safety of all guests, I cannot accept: Large breed puppies. Females in heat. Aggressive dogs or aggressive breeds. Intact (not spayed or neutered) pups over a year old

Information Sharie J. would like to know about your pet
I prefer to have a meet & greet before your pet’s stay to ensure we are a great fit for each other. During this time, which generally takes 20-30 minutes, I will ask several questions about your pet(s), covering topics such as eating, bathroom, and sleeping habits, as well as any medications or allergies they might have. I will make exceptions in emergency situations if your pup is well-socialized and current on their vaccinations. Drop Off information… Drop off & Pick up hours Monday through Friday from 7AM to 7PM (exceptions can be made with prior arrangements.) I require a scheduled time for drop offs and pick ups. Please notify me of any changes so we can reschedule a mutually convenient time. I can provide pick up and drop off to your home. Please bring your pet on a leash with a tagged collar. Please make sure your pet is clean and fresh at drop off. I can provide a bath for an additional fee ranging from $15-$25. It is very important to notify me of any changes in food, medication, medical conditions, allergies. Or if your pet has had any diarrhea, coughing, or sneezing within the past 48 hours. Please bring enough food for your pet’s stay, along with any treats you would like them to have. (No rawhides please.) I suggest bringing an extra day's worth of food, just in case you are delayed. Bring any medication with clear written instructions. For crate trained pups - I have crates that I can set up. I will provide all bedding/blankets, toys, food and water bowls, etc. Thank you so much for reviewing my profile! I sincerely look forward to meeting you and your pet(s). Please use the platform's contact feature to arrange a convenient time for a meet & greet.
A typical day
Our day starts very early with an immediate potty break. We settle for a bit and then have breakfast. After breakfast, we have another potty break. We have a brief rest while we let the food settle. We then have structured play time. This could be nose work, hide and seek, tug, fetch, and/or mental stimulation, etc. Then we have another rest. We go outside several times for some fresh air and play time. We have dinner and let our food settle. We then have a final play time to exhaust our final bursts of energy. We have a final potty break right before bed time.

Pet care experience
I am a lifelong animal enthusiast with extensive hands-on experience spanning from early childhood. My journey began living on a working ranch with animals of all kinds! As a teenager I worked at a kennel and volunteered at a local Vet’s office. I often took home and fostered dogs and cats with special needs. These foundational experiences ignited a lifelong interest in animal behavior, a subject I have studied formally and informally for years with the initial goal of becoming a veterinarian. At home, I'm a proud dog mom to two wonderful pups: Clyde: A 13-year-old, 15-pound Bichapoo who found his forever home with us in 2014. Despite some age-related sight and hearing loss, he navigates his world with incredible resilience and confidence. Millie Mae: Our energetic 2.5-year-old Miniature Goldendoodle (21 lbs) who began her formal obedience training at five months of age. My Goal: Your Peace of Mind I am extremely passionate about providing exceptional care. When you entrust your pets to me, my goal is to give you complete peace of mind while you are away. I provide a safe, loving, and fun "home away from home" environment where your pets are treated like royalty and can't wait to return. You can relax and enjoy your time away knowing I will keep you fully informed with daily updates, pictures, and videos.

There was a truly no one better! We appreciate Sharie so much for her kindness and diligence - she really cares so much for our cats - I literally would not go on vacation without her!!

Sharie is the most wonderful dog sitter ever. She is very professional and knowledgeable. My dog has separation anxiety and had the best experience. She socialized and felt right at home. She loved Sharie. She was there over a week and I couldn’t have been happier with Sharie. I highly recommend her. My frenchie was so well taken care of and happy. Sharie is a lovely person and loves animals. I was very impressed with her credentials. I will definitely use her services again.

Sharie is amazing! We left our frenchie for the first time ever. Sharie knows a lot about animal behavior. She spent time getting our frenchie to trust her. When we picked our dog up, we saw that a bond had been built. This was a trial run for our booked long stay. We couldn’t be happier. We know that our frenchie will be in the best hands. Sharie is a sweetheart and a truly professional pet sitter. I highly recommend her services.

I recently had Sharie take care of my one-year-old Goldendoodle, Princess, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the love and attention she received. Sharie took the time to understand Princess’s needs and made sure she felt comfortable and safe. Kept me updated with texts and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who truly treats your pup like family. We will definitely be booking her again. —Laura and Princess 🐾💖
