I’m looking to walk dogs. Our grand-dog, Joey is a young NS Duck Toller who is well trained so we use the same commands he is used to. When he stays with us we keep the same routines and activity levels he is accustomed to ( mostly trails or the local beach) for him each day. Recognizing that each breed and dog has different needs for physical activity, consistency is important.

I am happy to keep to pet routines and consider their personality and physical abilities for outings. My grand- dog loves our daily adventures and when he stays with me we also photo journal for his people and fans. We have a ton of fun!
A typical day
I am an early riser and like to get outdoors for activity. I love to plan my days around swim, bike and run workouts - or Nordic skiing / snowshoeing in winter. I have the flexibility to do these workouts anytime during the day.

No longer a dog owner, but have my grand-dog for vacation stays & outdoor adventures. I walk and/ or run daily and I am a former regional physical activity consultant always on the move.

Shannon took care of our 2-year old Duck Toller for ten days. She sent us daily snapshots of their adventures, and he absolutely fell in love with her! Shannon diligently followed our instructions for feeding and commands, and developed a positive rapport with our pup. She did a fantastic job taking care of our fur baby and I highly recommend her to anyone - especially if you have an active dog!
