When I’m caring for your pet in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as familiar and stress‑free as possible. I follow your instructions closely and make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and well‑loved while you’re away. Here’s what you can expect: *Respect for your home and routines: I treat your space with care and follow all house rules exactly as you outline them (ie. feeding schedules, crate routines, treat limits, preferred walking routes, and anything else that matters to you) *A calm, comforting presence: I take time to help your dog feel relaxed and understood. Whether they’re playful, shy, energetic, or a little anxious, I adjust my approach to match their personality. *Safety first: I double‑check doors, gates, harnesses, and leashes before every walk or potty break. I’m attentive to your dog’s body language and surroundings to keep them safe and happy. *Cleanliness and care: I tidy up after meals, walks, and playtime, and make sure your dog’s space stays clean and comfortable. If accidents happen, I handle them promptly and respectfully. *Communication you can count on: you’ll receive updates, photos, and notes so you always know how your pet is doing. I want you to feel completely at ease while you’re away. *Personalized attention: every pet is different, so I tailor my care to their needs, whether that’s extra playtime, slow snuggly moments, mental enrichment, or a quiet presence nearby. My goal is to make your time away worry‑free and to ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for in the comfort of their own home.

Informationen, die Shannon M. gerne über dein Haustier wissen möchte
To make sure your dog has the best, safest, and most comfortable experience, it’s really helpful for me to know a few things ahead of time: * Your dog’s personality: shy, energetic, anxious, cuddly, independent * Any triggers or fears: other dogs, loud noises, bikes, certain people, or anything that might make them nervous * Walking style: are they a "puller", prefer a slow pace, love to sniff, or need structured leash guidance *Routines & preferences: do they have favorite treats, preferred routes, feeding schedule, or house rules you want me to follow * Health considerations: do they need medications or have mobility issues, allergies (anything I should keep an eye on) *Social comfort level: how are they around other dogs, people, or new environments * Commands they know: sit, stay, leave it, heel, or any cues you use regularly The more I know about what makes your dog feel safe, happy, and understood, the better I can tailor each walk or visit to their needs. I want them to feel completely comfortable with me from the very first hello.
Ein typischer Tag
When I arrive for your dog’s walk, I always start by greeting them calmly and giving them a moment to get comfortable and excited in their own way. I make sure they have everything they need for our time together, and do a quick safety check (collar fit, harness, leash, weather conditions). Once we head out, I tailor the walk to your dog’s personality and energy level. For high‑energy pups, we’ll keep a brisk pace with plenty of sniffing and enrichment along the way. For more relaxed or senior dogs, we’ll take a gentler route with lots of time to explore at their own speed. I stay attentive to body language, surroundings, and any triggers your dog may have so the walk stays positive and safe. At the end of the walk, I'll give them a little cool‑down time, and make sure they’re settled before I leave. If you have specific routines (ie. treats, crating, lights, or feeding instructions, etc.) I follow them exactly as you prefer. With every visit, you'll receive: * A summary of how the walk went * Photos of your pup * Notes about potty breaks, behavior, and anything I noticed My goal is for you to feel completely at ease knowing your dog is getting safe, attentive, and loving care every time.

Loving Care for Your Best Friend
Erfahrung in der Haustierbetreuung
Hi! I’m Shannon, a lifelong dog lover who believes every pup deserves patience, kindness, and a great walk to brighten their day. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities: from bouncy puppies who need structure to sweet seniors who appreciate a slower, gentler pace. People describe me as calm, reliable, and incredibly tuned in to what each dog needs to feel safe and happy. I take the time to learn your dog’s routines, preferences, and quirks so they can enjoy every walk or visit. Whether you need regular walks, drop‑ins, or occasional help, I’m here to provide stress‑free, trustworthy care you can feel good about. I’d love to learn more about your pup and what makes them special. If you’re looking for a reliable, caring walker, feel free to reach out and set up a meet‑and‑greet. I’m excited to meet you both and see if we’re the right fit.

This is definitely Jasper's new favorite place--nice family, lots of walks, and a doggy friend to play with. He was very calm afterwards and I take that to mean he was not stressed at all about being away from home. And they liked him too! Will be returning soon.
