I hold qualifications in Animal Care, Animal Management, and I am a qualified Zookeeper (certificates available upon request). I have experience working in a variety of environments and have supported local veterinary practices by caring for and treating boarding animals during staff absences. Having grown up surrounded by animals, caring for them has always been a natural and important part of my life. I am reliable, consistent, and highly adaptable to both your needs and those of your pet. Alfie was walked 3 times a week while I was away on holiday. Shannon was reliable and Alfie is a big fan. I would highly recommend.
Shannon is a dogs best friend! My pooch ‘Pudj’ is a Yorkshire Tierrer and absolutely loves Shannon. He runs up to her when she arrives and cries when she leaves. She plays with him and checks him over for health reasons as she also works in a veterinary feeding the animals over on weekends, which she has also taken pudj to for a check-up as she was free and I was abroad (Bless her). She’s a dedicated animal lover and my pudj loves her. Kind regards Paige x
Shannon was my neighbour for about 20 years. She had her own little family of pets who were her world but she made room in her heart not only for my family of pets but every animal that crossed her path. She was on call day or night to help with my dogs, if I ever fretted something might be wrong she’d be at my door to help in a heartbeat. She became ‘dog mother’ to my dogs! & there really is no one I’d trust more to look after them than her. I also spent many days jumping up early in the morning to potter down to the vets where she worked on the weekends, rain or shine she’d be there in the morning and afternoon feeding the animals, giving them medicine and befriending even the fiercest feral creatures that would be guests in the little vet hotel! I watched the patience and kindness she had for every one of them and her work ethic driven by love for what she was doing. I don’t think she’s ever met an animal that didn’t like her, she’s like the babysitter/friend your kids can’t wait to see!
Shannon has been looking after our French bulldog teddy for the past year. I feel at ease and know he is safe well looked after and having fun while in her care. She is always on time, professional and a real natural. I highly recommend Shannon.
Shannon is an extremely responsible and caring animal sitter. Showing both professionalism and a passion for what she does. I never worried about my dog when he was in Shannon's care and I'd recommend her.
