Hi! I’m Shannon, I’m from Virginia but moved over here 7 years ago. I have been a dog owner for the past 20 years and currently have a jack x dachshund named Norman who also loves to make friends, play and go on long walks. I am experienced in caring for all ages of dogs, administering medication, and adhering to specific dietary needs. In my house, dogs are family and can snuggle on the couch or play in the fenced in garden. Your dog would be in safe and happy hands with us :) I work from home so am always available for drop in visits and walks. Your dog will not be left alone, as there will always be someone here (me or my husband) to ensure your dog is cared for :) I have a cheeky jack x dachshund named Norman who is super friendly. We have a fenced in garden to play in. We want your dog to feel as comfortable as possible so we allow dogs on the bed and sofa for snuggles. We love to explore new areas and go on long walks.

Thanks again Shannon for doing such an amazing job of looking after Pewley . It’s so nice to be able to leave him in safe hands. He gets a fab holiday too and I always appreciate the pictures you send whilst we are away showing him having fun with you all.
Pewley our Spaniel had a wonderful stay with Shannon and her pup Norman. It truly was 5*. It was his first long break away from us and he couldn't have had a better 'home from home' visit. Shannon kept us updated with pictures and he looked like he was having a blast with muddy dog walks, cuddles on the sofa and lots of tug of war games with Norman. Thank you again for taking such good care of him! I think he enjoyed his holiday as much as we enjoyed ours :)
Highly recommended!! Our aging dog Buddy was really well looked after by Shannon and her partner. He settled quickly, had a lot of fun and was really relaxed when we went to pick him up.A real hone-from-homr ❤️?

Shannon was absolutely incredible. We were naturally nervous as this was our first time leaving Bobby with someone but Shannon made us feel completely at ease. She kept us up to date with photos and updates on what Bobby had been up to etc. We couldn’t have wished for a better dog sitting experience.
Angus (Beagle) & Iona (Jack Russell) had a really fun filled couple of days with Shannon & Norman. They all got on so well and the walks looked varied and interesting. Lots of things to explore & sniff out. Shannon is absolutely great and kept me informed with updates and photos. Angus & Iona hope to stay again soon and I could recommend Shannon highly enough.

Zeitplan
I am currently on maternity leave until September, which I will then be working from home so am able to take the dogs out for lunch time walkies and evening.

I treat dogs as if they are my own, they become family! We have lots of snuggles and playing. We enjoy taking the dogs on walkies and exploring new places.

I think it’s important to give your dog both physical and mental stimulation with puzzles and games followed by long walks to the park nearby, taking in all the new scents!
