I have grown up with a varity of not only dogs, but other animals as well. I have had experience, which has included volunteer work at an animal shelter with a variety of dog breeds and dog sitting for multiple people over the last 15 years, which ranged from a few hours for most to a few weeks for some others. When walking my dog or other dogs, I usually would access before hand what the dog can handle in degree of difficulty and what an appropriate time limit should be used. Some examples of a walk could be a leisure walk around the surrounding neighborhood for 1.5 to 2 miles, or about a 30 min walk, or for others that need more exercise, would be to take the dog on a dog friendly hike. My own dogs are a 1 1/2 year old fawn boxer (Lucy) and a 6 month old boxador (Koda), which is a black lab mixed with boxer Throughout the years, I have owned small dogs, big ones, bunnies, cats, birds, etc... Some dogs that I have own or took care of have come from a range of pure breeds to rescued ones who needed a little extra special attention.
