I currently am working 3 days a week and have 4 days off while my kids are at school. I’m looking to fulfill my time with animals— what I enjoy most.

I am able to care for client animals like they’re my own. Whether this be playing fetch, having treats/cookies or even sitting on the couch lounging. I am all about trying to keep the pets happy with their normal routine.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs such as dietary restrictions, daily routines for potty breaks, walks, outdoor time, etc. If your pet suffers from anxiety of being alone, please let me know ahead of time so I can make more frequent drop ins to check on them.

If the pet loves to play ball or get petted; that’s what we will do! I am all for accommodating what the pets normal schedule looks like to keep them happy while their family is out of town.

I worked at Foothills Veterinary Hospital as a technician for 8 years. The practice is owned by Dr.Randall. While working at FVH I worked in the boarding kennels, reception, and as a technician. There are a few clients I have house-sat for over the past couple years. I graduated from Clemson in 2017 with my BS in animal veterinary science-prevet. I went back to school for my masters and graduated from Clemson in 2018 with my MS in applied health research. After graduation I was promoted as a reproduction technician specialist. I have shown/bred AKC dogs as a hobby for close to 12 years. I currently am a registered nurse and have two loving children and 4 show dogs. I am willing to be flexible with arrangements, just let me know!

Shannon was excellent! We appreciate the amazing communication and flexibility. She was great with our shy cat and really kept us updated. Thanks for all your help Shannon!
Shannon is wonderful! I have booked her a couple of times now to house sit with my dog, Max. The house is always exactly as I left it when I get home, and I can tell Max is happy! I will continue to book Shannon whenever I go out of town.
Shannon did a great job checking in on my furry friend. Everything from letting him out, to feeding him, to taking him on a walk, all went just as I hoped. She took care of him as if it was her own dog. I will use her any time I am away, and highly recommend her to anyone else.
Shannon has house/dog sat for us twice now and the dogs have been well cared for in our absence, as well as our home. We even have a dog that is fearful of strangers and she warmed up to Shannon like she does for no one else. Our instructions are carried out and our house is as we left it when we come back home.
