West Virginia Dog Whisperer
I treat dogs like family and have always had the ability to connect with them. In 2009, I adopted an adult yellow lab, took him to law school with me, and pampered him for 11 years until he passed at age 17 last year. My vet told me he was one of the best cared for labs in her career and impressed by the longevity I gave him through constant care, exercise, and training. I am skilled at care for young and elder pets, including oral medicine administration, age appropriate exercise, and games or positive reinforcement training.

Shane is a responsible dog lover. When I first met Shane he had an elderly yellow lab named Winston. As Winston aged his health began to decline, but Shane’s care and attention during the dog’s most challenging life stage was remarkable. He always prioritized Winston’s comfort and well-being and made sure he received plenty of love and treats. I’m sure he would be a fantastic Rover sitter and devote the same love and attention he did with his own late k9 companion.
Shane is SO good with pets! I've seen him not only with his own pets (he's a GREAT pawrent), but also with my awesome kitten Nassau. By the time Shane leaves my house every time, Nassau likes him more than me! Anyone who hires Shane will be very lucky and their fur baby will be very happy.

Harmonogram
I own my own business in downtown Charleston and will have the pups mostly with me at my large office on Quarrier Street with a nice lawn and close to the Boulevard for walks. Lots of attention and interaction with me and my teammates, or they can have private time to rest and relax.

Pets that stay with me will hang out with me most of the day, enjoy multiple potty breaks and walks, and receive frequent cuddles and belly rubs. We will always have fresh water in elevated bowls and meals as owner directed. While I am not a professional dog trainer, I attended training with my lab and worked with him during his whole life on various tricks and commands if you’d like me to use positive reinforcement (treats or affection) to reinforce behavior you may be working on at home. We can also just hang out on the couch and watch TV!

I like to take a small break every hour to unwind and stretch my legs, typically taking a walk around the block or even making a longer phone call. My favorite places to walk are the Boulevard, Coonskin Park, and Little Creek.
