Hi! I have 13 years of experience working with dogs, and a lifetime with a total of 6 dog pals, from my wee years until now. I have 1 lovely 18-year-old Chug, named Basil. I adopted him when he was 3, so we've been best friends for 15 years! I have worked as a dog sitter, animal sitter, dog walker and always have a dog in my own family. All of my dogs have always been rescues, but most of the dogs I have walked or sat have been pure bred. I have skills with helping dogs change habits (i.e., a leash puller learns to walk next to me, or a small dog learns to not bark at every creak in the floor).

I am very aware that every pet and their human pals have certain routines and habits. My goal as a long-time caregiver is to always honor whatever you request of me and also attempt to emulate energy and behaviors shared with the pets. I always send text and photo updates. I like to make sure I know who to call in the case of an emergency, and if a relationship is ongoing, I request that my contact is noted as someone who can communicate with their veterinarian.

Imagine my worry when my puppy sitter got sick last minute. I was apprehensive about using an app. To find a trusted pet sitter. Then I found Shannon. I knew her from 20 years ago. We worked together in restaurant hospitality. I was on my way to feeling much better. She accepted the booking and did an amazing job. Shannon has always had a loving heart for those she is interacting with. Whether human or animal she goes above and beyond. I'm beyond grateful and thankful for her help. And rekindling a friendship in another stare and town so many years later. She's a keeper. I'm forever indebted to this service for reuniting us.
Shanann always takes great care of our little dog. She always takes her to parks for nice long walks and treats her like one of her own. We will be back for our next vacay!
Shanann was so AMAZING! From the moment we met at her place for the meet and greet and through my dogs stay. Shanann took very good care of Dolce, she sent updates throughout his stay, informed me of his eating patterns and how he was sleeping. When he wasn't eating she asked if he could have sliced turkey. She also made necessary changes to his food when he wasn't eating and it helped. She took him on daily outings to the dog park and walks. Not only was Shanann great, her entire family was AWESOME and welcomed Dolce into their home. We also loved the big backyard that allows for dogs to get some outside time and potty when needed. We will definitely use Shanann again when we need a sitter, she's AMAZING!
Great experience
Shanann and her family were amazing hosts for Holly for the week she was there. From the first time we met them, they were excited to have her and put all of our anxiety at ease. Throughout the trip, Shanann constantly updated us with texts and pictures of all the walks and adventures Holly was on. Holly was definitely very tired from all the fun by the time she got home. We will definitely call on Shanann again when we are need of a place for Holly to stay.

Schedule
I've had my own business for 7 years now and moved to Ashland 2 years ago. Before moving here, I was able to offer more services, but am now focused upon pet care in client's homes and walks. I unfortunately cannot board anyone at my home and am also unable to stay the night in pet homes. Although, I am extremely aware of routine with animals and can plan to be at your home with the morning and evening routine in check, and morning, midday and evening walk + playtime included. I am in an online asynchronistic master's program and have an 8-year-old daughter. My time is very flexible aside from my daughter's school routine and transporting her to afterschool classes.
