My name is Sarah R and I am currently a veterinary student at Virginia Tech University. Since I was a child, I've always had dogs and cats in my household. Over the years of working with animals, I have learned the value of patience and providing quality care to all animals. In terms of my tangible experience, I worked as veterinary assistant for 1.5 years and as an animal shelter employee for over 3 years. Since I was a teenager, I have been pet sitting for neighbors, family, etc. I enjoy volunteering at the local humane societies and adoption events. I have always had a passion for veterinary medicine. In the past, I participated in spay/neuter clinics through a program called VIDA. These programs took place in Guatemala and Cost Rica and allowed me to gain additional hands on experience with animals and people. It has been my passion to work with both large and small animals for much of my life. I would love the opportunity to provide your pet with high quality care and love.
