I take pet safety very seriously after having cared for my own two senior dogs. I always walk dogs on a leash regardless of the neighborhood/area for both their safety and mine. My dogs and any visiting dogs will never be left alone together in the same area (I have a large gated pen I can use to separate dogs when necessary). I always am very careful about following owner's instructions and will ask questions if I think I need assistance. I also send detailed Rover cards with information about everything that happened during your pet's stay/walk/drop-in.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or behavior issues. My own dogs were sometimes triggered by certain sounds/sights so I know that just like humans each pet is unique. I can work with your pet to give them the best experience possible while I care for them.

I will try out every toy your pet owns with them if they wish! I like to see how each pet's personality is different and find out their little quirks and favorites. For walks, I like to take dogs places that are beautiful nature-wise, but also have interesting areas for them to sniff and explore safely.

Update: I took 2 years off Rover due to moving to a new area and having a long commute to work. Now I live closer to work in Pasadena and am able to start providing care again :) Hi There! I've been caring for pets for almost my entire life. I've owned or cared for rabbits, lizards, frogs, fish, cats, birds, guinea pigs, horses, and my beloved two dogs! Being a high school science teacher, I have a lot of patience and animals are always better behaved than teenagers :-D I would love to get a chance to get to know your pet(s) and treat them just like I would my own! I had my own dogs for 15+ years (they recently passed due to old age/health conditions). I am especially well-versed in daily care for small dogs, but I am willing to learn and apply whatever is best for your pet. I am currently available for drop-in visits and walks.

Sarah was very awesome with a weekend drop in visit for our two little kittys. She took many photos and was very great with our cats. I felt very comfortable with Sarah. She even came over before hand to introduce herself and even provided a lockbox for us. I would 10/10 recommend Sarah and will definitely be booking again in the future !

Sarah did an amazing job, as usual. The care and attention she gives is top notch. This is the third time we used her services, and recommended her, highly.
What sold me when it came to booking Sarah for our cat sitting was the reviews and the fact that out of all of the other pet sitters, she suggested a meet & greet before booking. She also followed up the week of the booking for the key exchange and care instructions review, which I appreciate because she asked ahead of time and travel can be crazy as it is! We enjoyed Sarah's loving, caring, honest, detailed care of Hazel and our home :)
