Availability
Generally, I'm very flexible and happy to fit visits into your pet's typical routine. I do work part-time, typically Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays during the day. On these days, I'm available for drop-ins earlier in the morning and after 6 pm, depending on your location. Please feel free to message me--I'm happy to work something out as far as my schedule allows.

About Sara T.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
When in a client's home I'm respectful, communicative and diligent about following instructions. I want you to feel worry-free while you're away! I'll take my cues from your cat while getting to know them. If they take a little bit of time to warm up to a new person, I'm happy to be a calm, predictable presence while they get used to having someone new in their space. This is how I've befriended a lot of the indoor/outdoor cats in my neighborhood!
Information Sara T. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if there's anything special I can do to accommodate your kitty. If they like (or dislike) being approached in a certain way, or if there are behaviors you're trying to avoid. I'm happy to work with you!
A typical day
I try to make sure your cat gets plenty of stimulation during visits. For some, this may mean playing with their favorite toys to get out some energy or bringing something like a new cardboard box for them to check out. For cats who are more laid back, I'm happy to hang out near their favorite spots and give them lots of pets

Reliable, Patient Cat Lover
Pet care experience
I'm an experienced cat-owner, but can't have a cat of my own due to my partner's allergies. I'd love to fill this gap by caring for your furry friend while you're away! Think of me as the fun aunt. Your pets will be lovingly cared for--maybe even a little spoiled--in your absence. I'm professional, communicative, and reliable. I have over a decade of experience caring for the pets of friends, neighbors, and other clients. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet behind, and my goal is to make you feel as at ease as possible. I send regular photos and updates, follow instructions to help your pet maintain their routine, and provide a calm, consistent presence to help build trust over time with your furry friend. In addition to cats, I have experience caring for other small animals such as rabbits and birds. Je suis plus à l'aise en anglais, mais je parle français aussi.
Reviews
I'm pretty sure that my cat likes Sara more than he likes me! Nervous to leave for a week-long trip, Sara watched Quincy and went above and beyond to update me on my special little guy - she gave me daily updates on how he was doing, so many photos and gave him plenty of snuggles. I came home to a happy cat and a clean litter box and would use her time and again!
Sara is an exceptionally caring, attentive, and kind human being and one of the few people that I trust completely to take care of my Cocker Spaniel, Lady. She is always willing to go above and beyond the basics, not only providing excellent pet care but also truly forming a bond with your pet. There is no one I could recommend more as a dog walker or pet sitter!
