I am currently taking a break from full time work so my schedule is fairly flexible these days. I have my own car so I have reliable transportation. I also have a doggy seat belt that, depending on the size of your dog, I may be able to use if you wish for me to take them to a dog park or the trails of the Dismal Swamp.

While I am willing to take care of animals in their home I will not be taking any pets to my personal residence. I live with 2 Spaniels and 2 cats. The cats do not tolerate strange dogs coming and going.

I prefer small-medium dogs but won't turn large dogs if we seem like a good fit. As much as I love getting paid, a pets safety comes first. I have no breed preference and do not discriminate against any breeds. I would like to know about any issues a dog has before sitting them. Examples of problems: reliving themself in the home, biting, anxeity, aggression, medical issues,etc

If there are any parks nearby I can take them there or I can take them to the trails at the Great Dismal Swamp to wear them out.I'll only take a pet to a park or outside of its neighborhood after the dog and I have gotten to know each other and with the owners permission. If they like to play fetch or play with toys there can be plenty of that.

I have taken care of dogs ranging from chihuahua to great dane. I have a preference for taking care of small-medium dogs due to my size (I'm 5"2 and about 155lbs) but am willing to take care of larger dogs dependingon their needs and temperament. I've been around dogs nearly all my life. If you have other pets that need care for will be around for home stays and pop ins I'm all for it as long as you inform me ahead of time. I love all animals be it dogs, cats,rabbits,snakes,fish,etc.
