Hello and thank you for your time and consideration. I recently sold my home in VT, US and I'm setting out on adventures and travels. I am a traveling pet sitter. I've recently completed some very successful pet sits in Pennsylvania, Virginia, New York, and Colorado. In the new year, I will be back in Virginia and then onto New Mexico. I enjoy matching my love of traveling with my love of animals, and enjoy meeting new friends as well. I have a son who lives in Boulder, CO and a daughter who live in Lafayette, CO. My son has a new puppy who I have sat for on numerous occasions, and my daughter has three kitties that I have also sat for as well. I love animals and enjoy the comfort they bring along with those special moments. I am a retired professional with years of experience in my profession - I was a public school teacher for over 30+ years. I am a never smoker. I only tell you this so that you get a sense that I am a responsible individual with life experience in taking care of a home, as well as taking care of beloved pets. I used to have a black lab named Mollie who passed away and I still carry her dog tags on my key chain to this day (growing up, we also had several shetland ponies). Mollie was a very special puppy. As a loving pet owner I'm sure you understand. Your furry family members are just that, and I take my responsibilities very seriously. I would welcome to care for them according to your instructions. I have had many experiences caring for pets of all ages, including those very active youngin's, those with a little more years under their belt, and those in need of medical attention . Walks, etc. would be according to your direction and their energy levels. According to my experiences, clients are very specific about the care they would like to have for their family pet(s). Usually they leave me detailed instructions highlighting feeding schedules, walking instructions, play likes/dislikes, medication schedules, and any other instructions needed for me to provide the best care possible for their specific pet's needs.

Samuel worked so well with my newly adopted and pretty anxious dog! Samuel is knowledgeable, kind, completely professional, and very thoughtful. It was an excellent experience. When Samuel is back in town, I will definitely book with him again.

Sam and Miguel stayed in my home with my dog Neva for 3 weeks. Both my dog and my home were extremely well cared for. He sent frequent pictures and when my dog was got a little sick, he consulted with my vet and took care of the issue, leaving me to enjoy my vacation. My dog loved Sam and Miguel! I would not hesitate to leave her with them again. I highly recommend them!
Sam and Miguel have cared for my dog Gracie on two occasions. Gracie is a minature toy schnauzer who loves to play and cuddle. Sam and Miguel quickly bonded with Gracie and followed her routine, addressing all her needs. They are both kind, caring and professional dog sitters-it is evident that they love dogs. My Gracie was so well taken care of, she enjoyed herself with Sam and Miguel and I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation, knowing that she was happy and safe. I highly recommend Sam and Miguel.
Sam house sat for us this summer. He took excellent care of our 2 dogs. Our older boy (he is 11), is an extremely picky eater. Sam actually sat on the floor with him and gave him tidbits from his bowl and encouraged him to eat. He was excellent with both of our dogs. Our neighbor said she met him while he was walking the boys and commented how great Sam was with them. He was exactly on time, detail oriented and extremely neat. On our arrival home he had a detailed itinerary of all of the days activities with the boys while we were gone. During our time away he communicated just enough. I cannot say say enough positive things about him and his genuine love for animals. He would be welcome in my home anytime.

Harmonogram
My daily/weekly/monthly schedule is pretty flexible. I am a traveling pet sitter, so my time is pretty much dictated by my location, availability and my clients. My schedule: Micanopy, FL (4/14-6/14); Lakewood Ranch, FL (6/23-8/1); Green Valley, AZ (8/5-9/4); Albuquerque, NM (8/8-8/21)...more to post later.
