Out of town beginning June 24 💛💙 Available in Fairbanks 💛💙 I have reliable transportation. I am familiar with the Fairbanks area. I watch all cats and medium, large, and extra large dog breeds. My favorite dog breeds include: Lab, Golden Retriever, English Springer Spaniel, Welsh Corgi, Siberian Husky, AK Husky, Husky mixes, Malamute, Malamute mixes, German Shepherd, Shepherd mixes, Belgian Malinois, Australian Shepherd, Caucasian Shepherd, Yakutian Laika, Laika mixes, Chow, Samoyed, Shiba Inu, Akita, Great Pyrenees I do not watch small breeds unless they are mixed with Husky, i.e. Pomsky. I like some Pomeranians and smaller spitzes. I also love rabbits and had a pet rabbit for several years. I do not prefer Poodles or Poodle mixes, with the exception of my friend's large black and very intelligent Standard Poodle and some Labradoodles and Goldendoodles. I appreciate a strong coffee or tea and the occasional craft beer or wine. I do not smoke or vaporize anything, ever, so your home will be smoke-free. I do not have any pets of my own now. I do not currently have military or base clearance. I prefer written instructions via paper, e-mail, or text for anything specific or detailed. All rates open to negotiation. Meeting before booking required. Please let me know if you would like me to wear a face mask or not. I am fully vaccinated. I do not charge extra for puppies. I am very flexible and open to same day bookings, last minute cancellations, and extended dates.

I am familiar with crating, play and enrichment, walking in cold climates, and placing booties on their feet. I am available in Fairbanks and live close to UAF. Recently renewed my CPR certification. Professional experience with a wide range of children, dogs, and other animals.

If you want your pet to be well loved and cared for, let Samantha look after your pet. Samantha is extremely kind and gentle, will make certain your home and your pets have everything they need during your time away. She follows all house rules and is quick to respond in an emergency, if one were to arise. I couldn't have asked for better communication from her and will certainly book her again! She prefers larger dogs, but that was no problem for us. Hurry, book her now because her calendar will fill fast!
Samantha is a great dog and cat sitter! She’s compassionate and caring to both clients and their pets! I had her take care of my cat which she did a great job at. My cat’s friendly but will run from some people, however she really enjoyed belly rubs from Samantha. Samantha did a good job at keeping my cat fed and her area clean. I highly recommend Samantha for any large breeds of dogs, cats and even reptiles and other little friends! Samantha is trustworthy to always do a good job at a more than fair price!
Samantha took good care of my high maintenance, elderly cat and my chameleon for over two months spread over several absences from Fairbanks. Both pets were well fed and in otherwise great shape upon my return. Samantha was thankfully flexible to adjust to at least two last-minute schedule changes while I was already out of town, which was greatly appreciated in that it saved me money and stress. I look forward to having her take care of my little pals when I'm out of town and when she's available in the future.
Sam stayed in my home and became my Boxer, Toby’ new best friend. She was attentive to his needs and I can see that there is a bond there. I am happy to have found a reliable person that I can count on for times I am away. She was strong with communication and respectful of my home.
Sam took care of my house and 1.5 year old black lab for a week this past February. She was responsible, prompt with communication and above all else: trustworthy. She did a great job, my pup was in such good hands. I’ve asked Sam back for two more pet sitting jobs and will use her in the future.
