Pet care just fits naturally into my day because animals are such a big part of my life. I already plan my mornings and evenings around my own dogs, so adding Rover pets into that routine feels easy and enjoyable. I like keeping a rhythm — walks, feeding, playtime, and snuggles — and making sure each pet gets the same love and attention they’re used to at home. Whether it’s a quick visit or an overnight stay, I make sure they’re cared for, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away.

When I’m caring for pets, I treat them like part of my own family. In my home, I make sure they have a safe, clean, and cozy space, plenty of playtime, and lots of love and attention. I keep a consistent routine for feeding, walks, and downtime so they feel comfortable and relaxed. When I’m in a client’s home, I always respect their space and follow the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. I pay attention to details — from feeding instructions and favorite toys to how the pet likes to be greeted or walked. My goal is for each pet to feel secure and cared for, and for their owners to have total peace of mind while they’re away.

It’s really important for me to know each pet’s routine and personality ahead of time so I can make them feel comfortable and cared for. I like to learn about their feeding schedule, walking routine, favorite toys or treats, and any quirks or habits they have. I also ask about any medical needs, medications, or allergies, as well as how they do around other dogs or people. The more I know about what makes them happy (and what might make them anxious), the better I can make sure they feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away.

I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, so caring for them just comes naturally to me. My husband, Jared, and I share our home with three amazing dogs — Nova, Sabre, and Luna — who each bring their own personality and energy to the mix. Nova is my rescue pup and the definition of loving and playful. She’s super social and does great with dogs of all sizes — from tiny puppies to big, goofy Goldendoodles. She loves to match the energy of whoever she’s playing with, so if your pup needs to burn some energy, Nova’s your girl! Sabre is our 35 lb Norwegian Elkhound — she’s the “big sister” of the group and has that natural herding instinct. She’s protective, nurturing, and keeps the pack in check. ❤️ Luna is our one-year-old yellow lab, full of puppy energy and affection. She loves sticks, naps, and being wherever the fun is! I work full time in an office, but my schedule is flexible, allowing me to plan my Rover stays carefully so every pet gets the time, care, and attention they deserve. We live in a house with a fully fenced-in yard — lots of grass and room to run, play, and explore safely. Between raising dogs of different ages, personalities, and needs, I’m comfortable caring for high-energy pups, rescues, and even more timid dogs who need a little extra patience and love. Samantha is a wonderful person to have watch your pet. She is very hard working, loving and friendly. She took excellent care of our dog and kept in communication all evening both before showing up at our house on time and while we were out. Highly recommend and would like to use her again if she is available .
Samantha was so sweet and clearly loves dogs. She was very accommodating asking how many updates we would like on our dogs. Our dogs seemed very happy. When it was pick up time she was very organized and ready with all their equipment.
Thank you Samantha for taking care of Bella! She is so nice and responsible.she sent pictures of Bella every day and gave me updates every day.
I'd highly recommend Samantha for anyone looking for a sitter! She provided updates on our pup throughout the day and was an excellent communicator overall. We were so pleased with the care and attention our dog got during her stays with Samantha.
