Lifelong Pet Lover - Now Remote!
My name is Ryan, and I have been a pet lover as long as I remember. In fact, I loved dogs so much that I worked as a volunteer over the summers at the local doggy daycare where I grew up. I would love to have dogs of our own, but currently my lifestyle won't allow me to. I have taken care of both dogs and cats. I have administered oral medicine and I am happy taking dogs on walks to the local dog park near where I live. I look forward to taking care of your loved one and can't wait to meet them! Why I love dog sitting I pressured my parents for years to let me get a pet. Then, from the 4th grade, I was lucky to get both a dog, Otto, and a cat, Storm. My sister and I were largely tasked with taking care of these pets, including feeding, exercise, and litter box duty. We were lucky to have Otto for 8 years and Storm for 17. Even after I moved away, I was close enough to home that when my parents went on vacation I would come home to pet sit. I loved dogs so much that I volunteered at my local doggy daycare for two successive years. It was a rewarding experience and I got to play with a lot of great dogs. I vividly remember working with one dog who was fighting cancer. He was so happy to have some company since he was separated from the other dogs. My experience administering medication I've given oral medication to both dogs and cats, but I have not given any injections before.

I have long been working with various kinds of pets and have quickly become acclimated to their needs and also their own eccentric personalities. I'm usually very quick to find out what a pet needs in the moment and am happy to take care of them the way that they want.

Ryan was absolutely incredible with Arya and George. From the moment they met, he brought such calm, positive energy that my pups instantly trusted him. Throughout the stay, he sent thoughtful updates, photos, and little notes that showed just how attentive he was. I came home to happy, relaxed dogs and a house that looked even better than I left it. It’s rare to find someone who treats your pet like their own, but Ryan truly does. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Schedule
I have a full-time job, but I am a tech worker and work 100% remotely! This means I will always be present with your pet in the event of a house sitting, and I will make sure your pet is cared for. I am happy to do what needs to be done to make sure that your pet is taken care of.
