She initially seemed great and was very reassuring when my dog was experiencing anxiety at the beginning of the booking. I appreciated her willingness to bring her child along for visits, as I try to be flexible and accommodating. I also want to note that she did help fix my dog’s kennel after she attempted to escape, which I truly appreciated. That was helpful and showed initiative in the moment. However, she was scheduled to visit three times per day and only maintained that schedule for the first two days of the week-long booking. After that, visits were less frequent than agreed upon. I have two senior dogs, one of whom is kenneled, and the extended gaps between visits resulted in multiple accidents in the house, which is not typical for them. Additionally, syrup was spilled on both my couch and wall during the stay. While accidents happen and I would have understood, it was not cleaned properly and appeared to have simply been covered with a towel. There was also an incident where my dog got out of the yard due to the gate not being fully latched. She was gone long enough for both a neighbor down the road and my community office to become aware and contact me, which was very concerning. While feeding was handled consistently, the overall attention to care and cleanliness declined as the week went on. My cat’s litter box was also significantly fuller than expected by the end of the stay. I truly wanted this to be a positive experience, but due to the inconsistencies in visits, cleanliness concerns, and the gate incident, I would hesitate to book again.
