Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover and proud Rover Star Sitter with four years of experience and consistent 5-star reviews. Caring for dogs isn't just something I do; it's something I truly enjoy. Long before I joined Rover, I was the go to pet sitter for my family and friends whenever they traveled. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I have experience with basic training, nutrition, and helping dogs feel safe and comfortable in a new environment. Because I work remotely from home, your dog won't be left alone for long periods. I have the flexibility to provide regular potty breaks, walks, meals, playtime, and, of course, plenty of attention throughout the day. I know every dog is different, and I do my best to keep their routine as close to home as possible. After losing my own sweet dog a few years ago, I kept all of her favorite beds, blankets, and cozy spots. Your pup is welcome to make themselves at home. Whether that's curling up on a dog bed, relaxing on the couch, or exploring my securely fenced backyard. Well behaved dogs are treated like part of the family while they're here. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. My goal is to give you peace of mind and make sure your dog feels happy, loved, and well cared for from the moment they arrive until it's time to go home. Roy is an absolute “Dream Sitter”! He takes only one client at a time or multiples from the same family. Well-behaved dogs will have free range in his home and large fenced yard! There are no kids or cats and Roy works from home so he is able to supervise and support your family member(s). He is definitely worth the drive from our home in Rockvale (outside Arrington, TN.). So if you cherish your “kids” as we do and want to be able to have some peace during your time away Roy has the experience and knowledge you are seeking to place your trust. Roy is such a gem! He took great care of both of our dogs, gave us a few updates on how they were doing without us asking while we were on our trip and made the drop-off and pick-up so seamless. Schedule
Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine because I work remotely from home and have a flexible schedule. That allows me to provide regular potty breaks, walks, meals, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day instead of leaving pets alone for long hours.

Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, my goal is to keep them happy, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible. In my home, dogs are treated like family. They have plenty of comfortable places to relax, access to my securely fenced backyard for supervised play and potty breaks, and lots of love and attention throughout the day since I work from home. I follow your feeding schedule, exercise routine, medication instructions (if needed), and any special preferences you have to help your dog feel right at home.
A typical day
Every dog has a different personality, so I like to tailor activities to what they enjoy most! We can play fetch or tug-of-war in my securely fenced backyard, explore plenty of toys, practice simple commands for mental stimulation, or just enjoy some relaxing cuddle time if that's more their style. If your dog loves walks, we'll head out for neighborhood strolls to get some fresh air and exercise. There's also a dog park less than a mile away, and with your permission, I'd be happy to take social dogs there for some extra fun and playtime. Most importantly, I'll make sure your pup gets plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment so they stay happy, active, and feel right at home while you're away.
