Adrian and Rose both have hybrid schedules and are in person 1-2 times a week but work the rest of the time in a dog-friendly work from home setup.

We have a fenced yard and a large, split-level apartment. We have a large soft sided travel kennel (big enough for a 90 lb Rottweiler), a small kennel for a dog up to 30 pounds or so, and a dog gate. We have a handful of well-loved dog beds, big and small, and all of our furniture is dog friendly. We are vigilant for hazards in the environment inside and outside and will regularly do dog-proofing checklists.

First and foremost, please be accurate in describing your dog’s weight and energy level. Bigger dogs that pull/ have a high energy are not a good match. Please let us know if your dog has any habits that need to watched closely so we can ensure their safety as well as the safety of others. For example, getting into trash cans, chewing on furniture, engaging in resource guarding of toys and/or food, etc. Please let us know if your dog is reactive on a leash, or an escape artist. We encourage pet parents to provide a favorite bed, blanket, toy, and/or other soothing items, especially for dogs with separation anxiety. Finally, all dogs must be on a flea/tick preventative and be current on vaccines.

We have multiple toys on hand for chewing, catching, and puzzles for mental stimulation. Dogs can also get some sun and outside time in our backyard which has a covered gazebo and patio set for lounging. On longer walks, we may walk to our local dog park but only go off leash with approval and on a case-by-case basis based on safety needs.

Over the past year Adrian and Rose have consistently earned 5 star reviews and the Star Sitter designation multiple times. We have been caring for family dogs for 20 years- 10 of those years have been as a team. Together we have been pet parents to three rescue dogs, two of whom were unpredictable in certain situations. We understand how behavioral issues can cause pet parents anxiety. Let us know your concerns and we'll let you know if we can work with them. We are prioritizing dogs under 50 lbs and dogs with calmer temperaments, which are a better match for our dog Bubbles. We may accept dogs outside of those criteria on a case by case basis.
