General routines: When and what do you feed your furry friend? Do you have health and medication requirements? How is your furry friend when left alone? What treats do they enjoy? What toys do they like? Where do they like to relax/sleep? How they are with children, people, dogs and other animals? Do they have any triggers to things like loud noises, cyclists etc? Doggy specific questions: When and how long do you walk them for? How do they walk on the lead and where do they like to walk? How obedient are they? Do I need to watch out for toileting, barking, chewing, possessiveness etc. Kitties: How much attention does your kitty like? Are they they indoor/outdoor Do you need litter cleaning? Is there anything in particular they don't like?

I love spending time with most animals - whether it's a kitty who wants to play (or just be left alone), a hamster who likes cuddles (or doesn't), birds who like my whistling, or a rabbit who wants to hop around and munch on treats. If I'm looking after your pup, depending on where you're happy with us going, I'll take them on routes which might head past a coffee shop, a wooded walk, maybe near a pond/lake if they like water, perhaps play ball in a park. We could play scent games, like hiding a treat behind a tree, or throw it into the grass. It could be they just want to play at home playing tug with toys or just getting tummy tickles. If your cat is playful, I’ll engage them with interactive toys like feather wands or laser pointers - making sure they get mental stimulation. I am also respectful their boundaries and allow them to come to me when they’re ready for companionship. Whether your cat is energetic or laid-back, I'll adjust our routine to match their pace and mood.
