Looking for a compassionate, reliable critter sitter with strong communication skills and extensive animal experience? I’d love to help! I regularly dog sit for friends, neighbors, and clients, and I also volunteer at a local county animal shelter as a dog walker. Through this work, I’ve received hours of formal training and am well-versed in dog behavior, enrichment, handling techniques, and training methods. Before taking on a new client, I schedule a phone or in-person meet-and-greet with two key goals in mind: 1. **Understanding Your Pet’s Needs** I take time to learn about your pet’s personality, preferences, and routines—including likes, potential stress triggers, dietary needs, and any training or behaviors you’re currently working on. This allows me to provide consistent, personalized care that helps your pet feel safe and comfortable. 2. **Building Trust and Clear Communication with You** My priority is giving you peace of mind. I’m highly responsive and easy to reach, so you can feel confident knowing I’m always available if you have questions or need updates. After each visit, I provide detailed check-ins with photos and notes so you always know how your pet is doing.

This was my first time using rover for my 2 cats. My original cat sitter fell through with a day to find a replacement on a holiday weekend. I chose Riley for her experience that was listed in her profile and she was close to my home. Riley was all around wonderful throughout the whole process. Great communication and pays attention to details. She is very thorough in asking questions about my pet’s needs. Her care and kindness with my animals has shown tremendously over just a weekend. My cats are usually skittish of new people But I was surprised by the cute photos I got in my pets report cards. They were enjoying treats and pets with riley by the second day. I cant wait to rebook her in the future and I highly recommend her!
Riley is amazing with my two dogs. They love her and get so excited whenever they see her. She always plays with them, gives them lots of attention, and treats them like her own. Riley is the perfect definition of an animal lover. If she won the lottery I undoubtedly believe she would buy a huge plot of land and make it a rescue for every homeless dog in the world. When it comes to caring for animals she goes above and beyond. Anybody and everybody’s fur baby is treated like a real baby in her care. I would never have an ounce of worry in my mind with her taking care of my animal!

Schedule
I'm currently working full-time remotely. Having the flexibility to work from anywhere has offered my opportunities to help look after neighbors, friends, and clients beloved four legged friends while they are away. Saturdays and Sundays are completely open.
