My schedule is extremely flexible, as I am recently retired. For the exception of dropping off and picking up my son from school I am home all day to provide attention and care for your pet.

Information Rick R. would like to know about your pet
We ask the parents of all pups ahead of time to inform us regarding demeanor with other dogs, feeding schedule, treats, allergies or any medication the dogs may require. For the exception of something that would require immediate attention and in the event of an emergency, we do not provide first aid or CPR. We ask for the owners to provide all Vet information, so arrangements can be made expeditiously.
A typical day
We have a large backyard for pets to stretch their legs. Dogs are let out every 2 to 3 hours from 7 AM to 9 PM. Also, weather permitting, I take dogs on a walk one to two times a day. The dogs are fed at 8 AM and thereafter as requested by the owner.

Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Rick. I would like to start by saying my schedule is extremely flexible, as I am recently retired from the Office of the Chief Judge, Circuit Court of Cook County. My family and I have a home that has plenty of space to accommodate your pet. We have an 11-year-old son and also have three small dogs of our own that are extremely friendly, playful, up-to-date with all of their shots, and in great health. I believe pets complete a home. I am extremely passionate and enthusiastic about the care and needs of all types of animals. My experience in Pet Care began from having my own pets and caring for the ones of family and friends over a span of 40 plus years. I have also fostered a few dogs over the years. I have a substantial amount of experience with cats, guinea pigs, bunnies, hamsters, turtles, fish and so many others. My goal is to ensure your comfort and confidence, knowing that your pet will be loved and cared for as if it were our own. Should your pet require any medical attention or medication I am completely capable of providing this service, while in my care. We hope you consider us. I look forward to providing a caring, efficient service for your pets.

This is the second time we booked Rick and his family. What a great experience end to end! Kept us updated with great pictures and recaps, even treated onyx’s rash he developed. 100% booking again. Nicest folks ever.

Rick was the absolute best host one can ask for. Rick took our 60 pound dog Onyx, for 5 days. He provided high quality pictures and videos throughout the booking. His dogs welcomed our dog and got along great. Super communicative through the pick up and drop off process. Overall met expectations and beyond! Will book again 100%!

Top notch service. Rick and his family take great care of my dog Koda. Makes her feel comfortable. She is a high anxiety dog and doesn't always warm up to others quickly. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for good service. 👍

Rick and his family did a great job with both of our puppies. I felt very at ease knowing Rick was taking care of both of my large dogs. I got lots of pics and notes and it was clear Rick and his family were treating my dogs like his own. I will definitely be using Rick again.
