In my adult life, I have moved around a lot for work and education, so I wasn't able to have my own pets until I settled down in recent years. That is why I love petsitting whenever I am able! As a petsitter I have cared for aging dogs and cats, as well as puppies and kittens over the past ten years. Recently, I cared for an eleven year old golden retriever with chronic gastrointestinal illness, who needed multiple medications daily.

Please let me know: -Is your dog spayed/neutered? -Does your dog have, or has your dog had, any chronic health issues? - If yes, what treatment or special care is required? -How well does your dog socialize with other animals? -Does your dog do well in the car? -Are there any places in your home that are off limits to your dogs? -Do your dogs have any dietary restrictions (special food, no treats allowed, etc)? I am happy to meet or chat with you before the dogsit to make sure I understand your dog's specific needs, and can provide a fun and comforting experience for your pet while you're away!

During our initial get to know you visit, or phone call, I'll make sure to ask you about places you and your dog love to visit together. I'll also ask you about your comfort level for me taking your dog on adventures. I love to take energetic dogs on hikes and runs at parks and nature areas. Frequent walks and playtime with pets is a PLUS for me, not an inconvenience. I'm doing this because I love it, and enjoy getting to know your pets and their personalities. With cats, I pick up on those subtle feline queues and will be as hands-off or as engaged as your cat wants to be.

I've been trusted to care for both cats, dogs, and other critters since I was just eight years old. While growing up, I had at least three rescue cats and kittens at any time, and I was able to care for the puppies and dogs of my friends and relatives. I even have some experience with rats, rabbits, horses, goats, cows, and hamsters! Since 2017, I have been entrusted with the care of dogs and cats ranging in age and size as a paid petsitter. I have considerable experience with geriatric dogs, and dogs requiring frequent administration of oral medications.

Rebecca did a great job watching our puppy. He’s a handful sometimes! She played with him and tuckered him out. The next day she came and did a check in to let him out to go for a short walk and go potty. Let’s just say, he had messed, she contacted me immediately and we reviewed the plan. Rebecca did as I asked. Will definitely use her again!!
Took wonderful care of my home and my baby boy Baxter.
Rebecca responded right away and was able to watch the boys for a weekend on short notice. She took such good care of the boys. She kept me updated multiple times a day and sent me many pictures. She was even comfortable taking them for walks and car rides. Would love for her to watch them again in the future!
We had a last minute dog sitting need and Rebecca was able to step in and take great care of our two dogs. We would definitely use her when we go out of town in the future.
